So i’ve heard eles are pretty good at dungeons… And i’ve figured out a build but haven’t quite tested it yet. I was wondering if this build could work for dungeons (you know, before buying the whole thing) also i’m a new player, just trying to figure everything out
Knight’s armor (head, coat, legs)
Berserker’s armor (shoulders, gloves, boots)
w/ berserker trinkets
two berserker daggers
0/15/10/15/30
please help me out and give me tips anything would help thanks:D

I’d be careful with Valkyrie, as Elementalist your critical chance isn’t quite high enough to avoid Precision completely.

My recommendation:
Berserker Trinkets, simply a must due to how much % critical chance they give.
Berserker Weapons, same reason as Trinkets.
Mixture of Knights (Toughness, Power, Precision) and/or Soldier (Power, Toughness, Vitality) and/or Berserker’s to your liking. If you chose to keep any Berserker pieces in your gear prioritize Shoulders, Gloves, Boots, once again due to the percentage they give.

This can change during the ‘Berserker-nerf’ how-ever (just saying) and as you can notice I prefer Toughness over Vitality since I feel it syncs more with any healing you might receive, but I don’t know if it’s actually better.

I think I will go with Berserker (shoulder, gloves, and boots) with Knight’s (head, coat, and legs). And also with Berserker trinkets and weapons. I hope this sounds like a good combo!

Lately I am trying to figure out a good build for my elementalist. So far I have chosen fresh air dps 0/30/0/10/30. Mainly right now i’ve been figuring out what armor to use. Berserker gear is good, but i’m not sure if i’ll be able to play with it. I’ve been thinking valkyrie armor, but i’m not quite sure. So, will valkyrie armor work for elementalists, if no, what armor will besides berserker?

I mostly need what type of gear and the traits maybe. I mostly prefer D/D, since it’s more fun for me. Even what to base the build off of would really help.

Lately I have been doing research on elementalists, and I am trying to figure out what they are really good at. What are they best used for? Are they good in Pvp, WvW, dungeons etc. I’m still trying to figure out what I want to base my ele off of. Anything would really help. Thanks

I’m fairly new to GW2 and I’m kind of stuck in a spot. I have a level 80 ele, but I still don’t really know how to work an ele. I’ve been trying to figure out what eles are good at and what builds I can do, but I can’t seem to find anything that matches what I want. Also, I love to play D/D instead of staff. I like to get into action instead of standing back and pressing buttons. I have no idea what to do for armor, or the traits, or anything. I don’t really understand most of how builds work and go together, but I am still learning everyday. But I am leaning towards more of a defensive build instead of glass cannon. But I also don’t want to be completely powerless. Anything will really help. Thanks!
