PLEASE NOTE: This is a suggestion for a addition to the game. It’s written in a innovative format to better explain the idea which could bring a great new things to Guildwars 2.

Swiftly, we run…. up and down, quickly loading supplies onto our ship… our battle ship – Titania.

With Balthazar looking down upon us, we know that war will come, death will follow this night onto many men. We reach our supply goal, Titania departs… the cold air of night brings no comfort.

With his ‘Big Blue Hat’, our captain demands that we prepare and put together all our ‘siege’ weapons… Titania already has most of them in place – we run to get them all into working order by using our supplies brought onto our ship.

I will not be working on the cannons below today, for I have a special blueprint in store for the enemy. As we creep ever closer into enemy waters… a storm brews. The men are uneasy… this will limit our sight.

On the main deck I place my blueprint, shouting to all my companions for help in building it. As it’s done, we all gaze upon the first of it’s kind – The Dragon Cannon. With a large dragon like figure covering the outside of the barrel, we knew that this little monster, meant business… and then, out of nowhere – Red Circles appear, all over the deck.

We scatter with screams of terror, and shouts of war. As the a enemy ship barrages Titania, we run to our posts of duty.

Side to side, we blast each other – destroying as much as we can before the second passing…. many are down…. some dead. We scatter to revive as many as we can, we will need every warrior to survive this night. Titania circles around to make the next passing, fires burning on the deck. The captain rallies the crew, shouting “STACK!”

With every last man back on their feet, we rally together, casting every ability or spell that will benefit our warriors. I look up, only to see the enemy gazing right back at us.

Ramming their ship into Titania, we fire everything at our disposal. Meteors raining down from the heavens, arrows hailing through the midnight air, engineering cannons roaring with flames. I hear nothing but the cry of battle.

Enemy thieves jump onto our ship in synchronization, shooting arrows over onto our deck – blinking over in a flash. Our warriors, charge onto their location; bashing, shouting and cleverly, stomping to knock as many as they can into Shark infested waters. Some of their allies use special tools they’ve mounted onto their ship to pull their own out of the water and back onto the ship.

Before we know it the battle was over. Without hesitation, we raid their ship for supplies. Roars of victory grace our tongues, but a bittersweet taste it is – Titania has taken a mighty.

Our ship, won’t last much longer… the lower decks are filling up with water – our crew, scrambling to patch as many holes as time allows. The commander makes a call to head towards the closest enemy Island Outpost… some doubt his decision, but we follow him regardless. “united we stand, divided we will fall”… our only motto.

As we approach the not so far Island Outpost, their defenders fire off cannons in their defense. We see many, waiting on the walls, waiting for their moment to come. Just before we make it to shore, Titania slows down drastically – we’re going down.

With barrages of fire falling down on us, most of our crew abandon ship, swimming to the shore in hopes of surviving…. odds of survival are slim with the enemy ahead, firing at our every move.

Instead of heading to the shore, I decide to make my last actions count…. I jump onto the dragon cannon and fire off the only shot I could muster onto the direction of the enemy outpost. After a flash of fire, I see their wall crumbling. Somehow, I managed to hit an already weakened wall!

With new found determination, my allies rush onto land and into their outpost. Enemies scatter in all direction. Most of them escape.

As for me, I knew I wouldn’t make it to the shore anymore, sharks have smelt the blood in the waters and their numbers double every minute…. As I sink into the dark, I see the outpost turn into our color on my map.

A glorious end I meet… yet, the battle isn’t over for my companions, they found another ship at the docs of our newly claimed outpost… they named it after me this time.

Suddenly I wake up next to a waypoint- I’m ALIVE! Quite confused, I press on to meet up with my companions again…

How this crazy world works I do not quite understand… I’ll leave those questions to the ones who can deal with them… our Gods… Arena Net.

You get the idea, now use it!

Sigil of Superior Energy not Working

I’ve got the sigil on my warriors shield, and it doesn’t work when I swap to the shield. I’ve tested this thoroughly in combat and it doesn’t work. An explanation or a fix would be much appreciated.
