oh. Good. haha. well thanks anyway man, hopefully I’ll figure it out. I mean the game still plays well I don’t get any error messages or BSOD it just lowers the frame rate from amazing to annoying. My card isn’t the greatest but it was better than my dying 8800.
Also if it’s to any avail, here’s my system: AMD Phenom 9650 Quad core 2.3ghz
8GB RAM. Powercolor Radeon 7750 and im on windows 8. :O
I did actually. I have the application and I re-installed the Catalyst center and drivers. The settings that thread recommended were the default settings to begin with as well :/
how do I update firmware and BIOS? And yes all of my Nvidia stuff is off my computer.
I just upgraded from a nvidia 8800 GT to a Powercolor Radeon 7750 and I have a 400w power supply. What keeps happening is I’ll be getting a great frame rate like 40-55 for a while, then the screen will freeze, go black and return to gameplay but I’ll have been downgraded to about 20-22 fps. Could my card not be getting enough power to render everything for so long? Please help guys. :/
I’m having the same problem only I’m running an ATI card. I tried rolling back on drivers but same problem. It doesn’t make any sense either, I’ll be getting 45-55 frames then suddenly it freezes…goes black and I then have 20-22 frames. Max. I have no idea wtf is going on and I just bought this card literally a few days ago.
