The chest spawns west of red rock are very decent as well, also slightly north of that location. There are about 10 total chests around this location, almost as good as amber. The farming could easily be just as good if organized chest farms were to take place in that location…yes chest farm is dead atm, only because people don’t know where to go now.
If you want maximum damage go for full zerker gear with ruby orbs, make sure you grab all the greatsword traits, and after that look for traits that give you a solid damage increase, you can also dump the rest in dis to get more crit damage.
Yes Anet please fix this, a helmet that covers most of the chin or jaw should shave the face to avoid clipping issues but a helm like this leave much space for a beard. I would much rather see my characters beard while wearing this helm.
I don’t play a thief, and yes I am here to complain about one certain problem with them. The thieves ability to 1-2 shot most enemy players. I have had this happen to me multiple times, roaming around in WvW, and out of nowhere a thief appears and I am dead without the ability to react. I don’t know exactly what ability they use, but I’m told it has something to do with back stabbing with a daze steal thief. Looking over the combat log I could see a 12k and two 6k crits, executed in literally about a second. Yes, I was in about ~70% berserker gear, and the thief was most likely in full berserker gear. But I am also a warrior with around 20k health, and regardless, no class should be able to kill an enemy player that quickly with an almost guaranteed success rate.
I don’t get why so many people are complaining about MINIS… They are no more than completely aesthetic pets, it’s not a big deal if you can’t get every single mini from some event.
This stuff looks familiar…
Aren’t you the guy who claims to make like 20g on a bad day off the tp?
No, I never claimed to make 20g per day
But you did say that you often flip items with hundreds of gold right?

My Manly Norn Guardian!!!!
Dude I think I’ve even see your guy online if he is on Maguuma. Nice armor setup anyway. Here is mine.
I can’t understand why anyone would choose any other physique on a norn male than the buffest one, or the fattest one. The skinny ones just look plain silly to me, they stand awkwardly and are way too skinny for their large nature.
Well if you see a dev playing again make sure you pick a theaf and backstab them in stealth as many times as you can and run away like a coward and then we might see some changes
This is why I can’t use my ANet tag very much in-game X[
How about actually taking into consideration what he was implying. Backstab thieves are currently very broken, for example I have been 3 shotted instantly by one of them while in full exotics while playing a warrior in open WvW. When I say 3 shotted I mean I was dead in roughly a second, I checked out the combat log to see a 12k crit, and 2 6k crits.
Yeah I’ve just been experimenting with some 40-60c items, close to 10+% profit but to actually make some decent money off of them I would have to buy about 1500 units, and during the time it would take to fill a buy offer like that, the prices would seem to fluctuate quite a bit.
Well TP trading takes patience and it’s for those people who enjoy the process, and btw, I do not buy more than 250 of any item. At any given time I might have 6-12 items on order, sometimes more, each order started as 250 stacks. I do not put all my eggs in one basket. Honestly though, anything that has over 20% profit margin for you is not the norm, and it tends to happen most with items valued between 1-3s but those markets are more volatile and more likely to screw you over.
So the idea is to have many stacks on order, but for different items. I only place a second stack order when I receive it fast and see it is already selling really well., but that is not common actually.
Most of the time, when you come upon a profitable area, you’ve got a window of opportunity, so stacks of 250 keeps it quick and easy.
I see what you are saying, I’ll probably need a little more starting money to do that. How much gold do you usually run around with, or how much gold would you have placed as orders and valued in listings at any time?
Yeah just been messing around with it here in the past 10min, only making about 5% profit on some 20c items but perhaps I can keep experimenting and get a little more.
If that’s all you can afford then that’ll have to do, but I’d I’d start looking upward sof 30c values, bigger profit margins, because again, at 20c you are closer to the vendor costs so just less room for profit.

Thanks a lot man, I’m thinking of starting to experiment with try to make some money using only the AH. Your advice should help a lot. Can you give out the names of any specific low ticket items that might be good to start on?
What I would do is filter crafting components and upgrade components (specifically the gemstones) and tell it to show them price lowest to highest. Skip the first couple of pages (start in the 20cs, otherwise items are often too close to their vendor cost) Click on an item and compare the order cost vs the buy cost, and since I was using the spreadsheet, I’d punch the two numbers in and see if I liked the profit, then just order the stack of goods. I’d usually do this until I either had invested most of my liquid cash, or got into items that were too rich for my blood. I’d spend like an hour doing all of this, standing at the TP guy and grabbing up orders that came in, listing them, going back to ordering.

Yeah most likely someone trying to buy out all the abyss dye’s up to a ridiculous price, then place them back on the market at that amount. Azurrei is right, if no one buys them at this price it will force the person who bought them to list them much lower and will eventually stable out the price again.
You got a weapon that is currently the 6th most valuable in the game.
Anet should troll back those people by making it tradable.
LOL That would be hilarious.
Since when is the end game goal looking good? Maybe it is for you but you can point at clipping and say that you are disappointed because you think the reason of the game is to look good. Yes it is an issue an it occurs on almost every character to at least some degree, I imagine they will eventually do something about it but I have a feeling it won’t be for a long time.
Is their different looking backs pieces not just quiver ? Like a llong cloak ?
I wish, if there was any type of regular full sized cape piece that would be my top priority, too bad that cloak looking armors and what not are very scarce because of the mental amount of clipping in GW2.
The stag helm, coat, and leggings for male are definitely some of the best looking heavy armor pieces in the game. With the cape like bits on the back of the chest and leggings, oh, very nice. Too bad they are priced at absolutely ridiculous amounts, I agree its something you should have to work for but 25g?!? That kitten will take me almost a week to get.
I hear they drop very seldom in Honor of the Waves and perhaps on the claw of Jormag event. I’m trying to get 30 for the greatsword and I buy all of mine for about 85-90s on the trading post.
