O that insignia is ascended. I am happy with exotic, to bad no insignia for it.
The ascended accessories in wvw are 45 laurels plus 50 glob of ectoplasms.
Ok thanks, didn’t knew there were ascended trinkets with these stats. However i don’t have enough laurels to buy two accessories, so i still need a exotic dire one.

GPU isnt being fully utilized by GW2 so GW2 must be borked. (I never said that).
When people have fps less than refresh rate, you’re cpu is bottlenecking. Sure, but that’s not the question. Question is, why is the cpu usage 60%?
Those screenies indicate your cpu bottlenecked with GW2. You GPU is not maxing out but your CPU usuage is high , specialy on 1 core.
not only that your cpu is AMD, AMD+GW2 = bad performance… they just dont like each other.
If i look at cpu usage only, why is it never going to 80%, 90%. In these screens its like 60%.
Is this 60% based on all four cores and 1 core is having a hard time and thats why i get lower fps?
Well that my cpu is nog strong enough for these settings is clear.
But this don’t explain why i can’t get solid 60 at subsample and everything low, in normal areas.
Only that GW2 don’t like AMD cpu XD.
Put graphical settings on auto-detect FXAA off. I usually play with most of my settings low or none. Expecting at least medium graphics with this system.
Have No problems with games like BF3 and Skyrim on High.
it seems like ANet made this game in order to help cpu/gpu manufacturers sell their high end products. If that was their plan, they succeeded.

And people complaining: i quit playing. Anet know they come back ones they increase fps. Because people already paid for the game and there’s no subscription.
It’s only strange that this game runs crap on the best hardware possible today, if that was there plan.

I run 15-25 in these big wvw battles so good luck, the game is just bad optimized for the 600 series that is, i heard it worked good on the 500 serie tho.
I’m trying to see if others have messed around with drivers/in-game/NVCP settings to get 50-60+ FPS in large fights (i.e. WvWvW and raid events) without taking a huge hit to image quality — I seem to be only be able to get that when setting everything to low,
Are there any settings in particular which are huge FPS hogs?
I’m currently running a GTX 570 with the 306.02-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-english-beta drivers

There is a new official Nvidia driver 306.23, but doesn’t seem to improve GW2 performance.
Have the same gpu, i can’t get 50-60 with any setting XD.
To you’re question: i think you get better fps with FXAA off.
Lowering SHADOWS also give better performance for me, i have it on none.
And decrease LOD distance, to medium or what you like.
Not to forget SHADERS, but that’s quite visual.
Also dont understand why the 2 topics were merged. I never crashed with this game. Now with this 2 treads merged its going to become harder to keep track of answers with people talking about diferent problems in the same tread… :\
Today i tried Best performance preset.
Still drops to 40- in quiet areas (with this rig expecting a solid 60).
Currently using nvidia driver 306.02 Beta.
I guess its an driver issue.
I really hope nvidia comes fast with an good official (GW2) driver.
However i can’t find any news about an new upcoming driver on the net. I hope it won’t take months XD.
When i play games i quit all other applications.
