Google: Windows 32bit 3GB Switch and try to add more virtual memory.
After I did this my problem was solved and i never crashed again (after 1 year of constant crashes and weird graphic glitches)

You have a 32bit version of windows and this version is just able to use 3gb of your memory. Try to add more virtual ram and google something that is called “windows 32bit 3gb switch” because windows also capps the available memory for games at 2gb or something around that number. Had the Problem for about 1 year and finally i resolved it with these two things^^

you just have a 32 bit version of windows and there is a weird bug. Had it for a Year now and it got really frequent. Just use more virtual memory and turn on something that is called “windows 32bit 3GB switch” because windows restricts the memory that is available for GW2 even if you have still enough “free memory”

After 1 year of crashes I finally don’t have the “out of memory” problem anymore.
For me the answer was this 3GB Switch that abomally.2694 recommended
Guild Wars 2 is now able to use all of my Memory that is available.
I also added some more virtual memory and even after hours in the crown pavillion or on the eternal battleground the client still has no graphic glitches or random crashes. (Also try to cap your fps and turn down settings)

Its almost like a new game for me now

I have the exact same problem since the patch (and even befor but not as frequent) and also same computer setup :/

In addition to the particle effects, Vision of the Mists is also missing its signature double hilt. I am taking a break from the game until this is fixed. Time to play something to doesn’t take hours and hours of my work and throw it under the bus for no reason.

they really have to explain the whole thing. I dont understand why they dont give a short comment on this thread

same here. its really hard for me to play this game. really. I would love to enjoy the new content but all my eapons look horrible now. and its the same with azureflame and other weapons. not only purple mist weapons.
hope they fix it or change it again!
