Grinding please please please

To the dude above me. You need to go back and play those games. I currently raid and play with friends in all of them, and in comparison to gw2 how it is now, vs last Oct the ‘grind’ you are talking about is 150% easier in wow etc, in fact its so easy that i geared up a brand new toon in full purple gear in heroic raiding in under one month and that was not playing more than twice a week. I haven’t been able to touch that here. So your comparison is bad since you obviously don’t play those games, you like to use as a comparison for what grind even means, and sit here and defend guild wars.
This game has way more of a grind than anyone wants to admit. You should just own up to it.

Judging by your post history I doubt you have the cognitive capacity to solve any issues, especially looking at what you call fixed. You did basically no work. LoL devs do much more than what you just did here, which was nothing in case you didn’t catch that, frand.

Necro, what you are seeing is the easiest build from people who have no clue how to play the class. They stack up all of our defense tree, and healing sig, probably some mango pies too, and what you see on the other side is some dude you cant kill who is Regening too much hp(from your perspective).
What you didn’t notice is, the 50-60 skill points they put into doing nothing but standing there regening and soaking up hits, and if that stun or that wicked 500-800 hit they do scares you, I would reassess how your skills and armor are set up because frankly these guys who run like this are terrible.

Inc fractal revamp : hopes,thoughts

As an avid fractal grinder, 3-5 per day of 38+, I can’t support more of this thread.
Other than what you mentioned above some thoughts.

A way to trade maybe 50 shard+50 glob+50 vials for a random ascended chest or something. I picked a high number of each because I like the idea of high drop rates from these things, I however don’t like getting nothing from 48s/58s when I do a few of them per day, so its nice to have a reward if you do them enough kind of thing.

I can’t stress enough how cool having maybe a ‘longer’ fractal would count as say 2 maps? I don’t see cliffside being long really at all, but dredge is really like longer than running most dungeons right now.

Higher drop rates on skins at 48+

A way to trade skin(s) for a different skin or something like a skin box, as someone said above, so you can pick which one you want.

More things to buy with relics and pristine relics (this depending since it was added just to give less rng on which rings you wanted to get at lower fractals) because we don’t have enough of these things.

Pretty spot on post.
After having ran arah p4 and some 45+ fractals recently it does get a bit daunting to end up with a handful of blues and nothing to really show for the hours of work you just spent. I haven’t even minded some of the ascended grinding its at least kept me away from spending all my time grinding ap.
Maybe one day they will expand their grind so that I can pick an area and at least know what items I could get, instead of farming everything with a fixed percentage rate.
I can say if my rl friends didn’t drag me back after I quit last December I would still be long gone, the pve here needs some love.

I like how all these posts are popping up like this was a magical change no one saw. Remember all the mad posts people had posting math to show all the naysayers it wasn’t going to be just 10%, well hey 4 weeks later you guys caught up.

Why was Karma income nerfed by ~90%?

Scryed.9423

Yeah can you fix this? I don’t like running dungeons only to get nothing, yet be forced to grind karma from terribad meta events. I honestly dont care if you nerf it, but getting almost nothing from these is pretty RIDDIK, chronicles of.
Why the decision? At least have the balls to answer to your player base when you do something aside from just sitting there saying nothing about it.

On the plus side can I get karma when I buy items for money at least, or maybe when I’m playing the TP game, since that’s 99% of the game these days?

Hey your post forgot to mention why warriors have the larger hp pool and regen vs. your guard.
Unlike your perma boons, that luxury isnt available and they have given this class something else that makes up for the lack of protection which is offered to some other classes.
Let’s try to not leave out all the minor details here.

How to nerf warrior PROPERLY.

in Warrior

Scryed.9423

People who cant understand simple math, or have no idea how to play this profession use healing signet as a go to and its pretty obvious after reading the 10 nerf threads, all started and commented on by the same 10/15 people who don’t play warriors well.

Like its been stated hundreds of times already, the problem was the lack of separation of traiting so that one could get x,x, and x, instead of x, x like most classes. In this case, stuns, damage, and defense.

I doubt you are going to see a big nerf anyways since its a pretty well tuned class now but if you want to complain about it, consider all angles instead of doing poor assumptions and bad math. It gets old after reading the same thing from the same people.

I’m glad they got away from the entitlement you guys who played a 10 year old game have. Instead you should think of it as something like “man the whole community really likes the look of these items and the devs made it so everyone could get them that’s really cool I can get this again and have nostalgia town all over my character”, instead of this you owe me attitude for buying a game years ago. I’m sorry you got tons of free stuff that was carried over into this game and it wasn’t enough.
Moving on you could talk about execution and how it makes no sense but hey that’s a whole separate topic.

Time For New Armor

This guy is pretty on point. The only armor that has been worth the gems in the store was the phoenix. For all the other professions the stuff you can get from dungeons looks/fits/can piece something that looks more amazing than the few crappy and terrible designed sets for 800 gems.
I honestly am shocked that after my 10 month hiatus from this game, the same gem store armor was available with the addition of brahms and phoenix. For a game that needs that cash flow, one would think they would not only be more on point with making better designed armor models, but also something that stood out more, considering 800 gems is like 65+ gold or 10 bucks, to make consumers more inclined to purchase things. Plus if it was me, I would cycle sets more irregularly than they do here, like I said, 2 armor sets added after a 10 month break is kind of funny.
I mean sure you guys just added a new set, but it looks like trash and I hate to say that because I know someone put in at least a few hours of work.

Secondary Trait Spec

I’m not sure if this has been brought up or thought about, but since most classes require different things for different content, it would be nice to see something on the lines of buying a secondary trait window, that you can swap to while out of combat.

Laurel items now basically worthless?

Scryed.9423

Like others said your post is misleading aside from that you have valid concerns but you should learn to articulate them more correctly.
Since Ive been playing for a while I know these celestial items you are referring to had the stat make up to include MF. Account mf, you getting a refund, etc is honestly irrelevant.
What you need to be asking is more in the lines of this;
Since this celestial gear was balanced stat wise/point wise/percentage wise with other items in the game to INCLUDE mf, now that MF is no longer apart of this will the unused points be added to the gear in other ways.

Everything else in this thread but that is moot hate to say it.
