Ok man I’m tired of these long nonsence posts. I mean when you asks questions such as, what about trash talking , it clearly shows that you are not making these post to actually try and come up with reasons why it shouldn’t be implemented. You are just making them to create an illusion that you actually know what you are talking about by just creating endless walls of text to tire me out and having the final say.

Well let me just say that this wil be my last reply to you because I am sick of having to talk to someone with whom I can’t have a discussion, because it doesn’t matter if they are right or wrong they will continue to defend their statement just to make sure they are never proven wrong even when it’s quite obvious that they are not making sence at all.

I mean there is no freaking way that you can’t answer those questions yourself… are you kidding me?

First of all wow already implemented this system and it’s working quite well.
If you want to join in on outdoor pvp you can do this, if you don’t you will never have to worry about outdoor pvp ever, because that button which turns on outdoor pvp, can simply remain untouched. ( It has a cooldown of 5 minutes, once you press it you have accepted to take the risk of being grieved/camped/ganked whatever. Not happy with it? Don’t press the button.)

Second, when people use the environment to create an advantage in outdoor pvp which is ruining your precious gaming experience, you can just go ahead and…. click on that magic button again and you are back to not having to deal with it ever again.
Using the environment is part of outdoor pvp tactics and if you are a victim of it you should’ve thought of it yourself.

This option can be implemented and whatever problems come along with it can either be handeled appropriatly by Arena Net themselves, or you can just go ahead and turn the option off. It’s only for people who want it.

Some other questions such as : Armor damage….( ok how about none?), PK loot? (no…it’s for fun.), Rewards? (again do you understand the meaning of the word fun?), players reporting other players for things that might happen? (uhm.. ok…maybe ban? maybe no ban?) Can’t find dungeon because I wont flag? (Sense, this questions makes none.) No longer want to be flagged? (too bad jimmy, don’t touch the magic button, you are gonna have to wait for the cooldown), Waiting for someone to be low on health before flagging? (Don’t be low on health when flagged. It’s a risk you are willing to take when pressing that button).
I’m just gonna stop here because these are all pointless questions which you can answer yourself if you would take 2 minutes to think.

Now I must commend you however for asking one particular question which did make sense and which could make implementing this idea difficult.
Level scaling:
Even though this might be the only issue that could be somewhat problematic, it could still be fixed if you would take some time to think about it.

For example: you are not able to leave an area when in outdoorpvp combat and you cannot be attacked by players outside of your level scale. Only people on the same level scale can attack eachother. This would make it possible for new players to also be able to participate in some a..kicking.

Now I am going to sleep and I seriously mean this, I do not want any more criticism from you. I mean seriously it’s sad to see someone hate on an idea just to hate it, when it will never affect them at all. I mean what reason do you have to not want this idea?
It doesn’t make sense.

Anyone else who can come up with some good reason why this shouldn’t be implemented feel free to post about it. But my discussion with you is over, the only criticism I want to hear now is from Arena Net themselves. Without backup from them I wont take anything you say seriously.

First of all what the hell man… read my second reply.

Second of all thats the only thing you commented on? One of the ideas that can very obviously be finetuned to not influence the people who don’t want to be influenced by it?

I appreciate the bump but you just wrote 2 whole walls of text that made absolutly no sence and the only conclusion I could draw from them was that you really love cats.

They don’t have to implement that idea just like that, they can just make it exclusively for people who do want it, by for example: allowing you to turn outdoor pvp on or off or to just let it affect level 80’s.

There are plenty of ways to finetune this, just think for yourself how this idea can actually be made into something fun instead of just thinking that I’m some …hole who wants to go around ganking people so therefore this idea is bad.

I really hope they can implement these ideas because I really feel that more and more people are leaving this amazing game because it lacks the endgame content.

I mean at least have different game modes in the spvp games. I really hate having to constantly focus on capturing bases. I want to kill other players and learn how to combine spells efficiently with other classes.

Also, for me as a pvper I have nothing to do in the actual world of guildwars. All of these quest areas look amazing but there´s nothing else to do but do quests or farm mats or get better gear through meta events which can only be used in pve.

You have to give us a good reason to go out and explore this world while still having something fun to do and I believe having a PK system implemented can really make the world more lively.
I want to be afraid that any second I could be assasinated and have to be on my guard.
I mean even if they don´t want to do this because they don´t want people to be hindered from questing by grievers, they can just implement something like :
-You can only attack other players who are level 80
-You can only attack players who turn on that they are willing to participate in outdoor pvp (yes this is from wow but you can obviously improvise on this.)

There are many more methods of controlling this concept and i really believe that it wil bring allot more life in the world.

I really hope more people will support these ideas. Cause I really can’t see anything wrong with them. On the contrary, it will only help bring more variation in things to do in the game.

Greetings ArenaNet,

I have been playing this game for 200 hours+ now and have loved every bit of it, but after hitting level 80 and doing a couple of dungeons/tournaments/spvpv/wvw, it is starting to become very repetative and more of a grind. I am not the only one with this problem many of my friends/ people in game have told me the same.

I believe that the main problem in this game is that the game lacks rewarding/ ’’fun’’ endgame content. Pve is basically a token grind and pvp is a rank grind.

- In pvp we do not have any ranked matches were you actually get rating from or anything to show ur skills off with. We only have the spvp and the tournaments which both give nothing more but rank(which is basically showing that you have farmed allot of spvp) and pvp gear sets which are really just for the looks.
On top of that the only gametype you can play is conquest in both these pvp modes.
Where are all the other pvp game modes? Where is capture the flag/team deathmatch/king of the hill.
Even a free for all just for fun would be amazing.

What I would also really enjoy would be a sort of assassination system where you could for example: buy an item (maybe buy this at the order of whispers) which allows you to kill any player in the world but killing innocent people will place a bounty on your head which anyone could then claim. (this idea can obviously be worked out in a more appropriate matter.)

I really believe you could draw more out of the pvp experience in this game than what has been implemented now. And I’m not even thinking about the upcoming GvG.

- As for the pve part, I believe you should seriously consider implementing extremely difficult 10 man+ dungeons with only boss battles (huge bosses/dragons) and very few events/trash mobs.

It feels really rewarding to kill a big dragon that took days to master the mechanics of and be able to slowly progress through this dungeon, rather than having 200+ people standing half afk/auto attacking one of the most detailed and amazing looking dragons I’ve seen in a long while. I think the huge dragons at the meta events are now totally being degraded as they are now and are considered as random free loot chests rather than frightening creatures.
On top of that these dungeons would make the meaning of having good gear more important because then any little bit of extra damage/healing/etc. could be gamebreaking. And maybe the rewards for these dungeons could be just the achievement and perhaps titles and/or rank symbols, which we have in pvp only then for pve.

Conclusion:
I really hope something will be done with the pvp as well as the pve in this game as I’m seeing more and more people leave this amazing game, because of the lack of end game content.

I don’t know whether or not these ideas have already been recommended or not (probably have), but I would really like this game so much more if it would have any one of these aspects implemented.

(I posted this topic in the spvp section but then Irealized it would be more fitting to be located here.)
