LFG Tool? Hope not…better add a new channel people can join if they like. One-button already exist in most MMORPG, most people play here since it’s different.
I have this problem myself, very annoying!
Running a single card, nVidia GTX680, latest WHQL drivers.
Game works well at Supersampling though.
I’m running this game with an i7-3770K, non-oc, along with 16gb G.Skill Ripjaw 2133MHz. My GFX is a GTX 680 and I’m running the game with latest beta drivers.
The game itself is maxed out with all candy set to it’s best and the resolution to 2560×1440. The fps never goes down below 60, actually it jumps in between 60-61 even in the most populated areas.
How similar setup profiles can’t match this even with lower settings, really shocks me.
What extra programs do you have running in the background, demanding so much that the game itself runs slow?
I’ve been troubled with gw2.exe crashing for quite some time now since release. Reading through endless posts on tech forum, I’ve noticed one thing…it’s not due to GTX-cards and neither is it a 32-bit OS.
However…no one tried running the game in windowed mode. Everytime I run the game in fullscreen, I can count the minutes the game will randomly crash.
Go into Options and the tab “Graphics”.
Change to Windowed under Resolution.
Too small? Just grab the lower right corner and draw it out as much as you like.
Works like a charm for me!
Since I’m getting tons of crashes as well, I’ll post my Advisor log here.
These crashes are a perfect example of memory leaks; there’s no doubt that all these setup profiles all are faulty.
This is my setup.
CPU: Intel i7-3770K (non-OC)
RAM: 4×4GB G.Skill Ripjaw Gaming 2133MHz
GFX: MSI GTX680 (non-OC)
HDD: Intel 520 240GB SSD (running at 6GB on an Intel controller).
Soundcard: Asus Xonar Essence STX (running at 24k/96KHz)
Monitor: Dell U2711, running at a native resolution (2560×1440)
OS: Windows 7 SP1 x64
There’s one thing that sticks out, which causes alot of trouble in Diablo 3 (while running Windows – higher DPI resolution (mine is at 125% for better viewing).
Other than the client crashing frequently, this game is one of the smoothest releases by far. The support team from ArenaNet is state-of-the-art, keep up the good work, guys!

Underxlocking is not a fix, there’s something seriously wrong with the client itself.
I’ve had these crashes since day one. Completely random as well, everything from opening a dialog with a NPC or just walking around. These crashes does seem to happen alot more frequent in Lion’s Arch…
Doesn’t seem so – still getting login error.
