This is literally a huge list of stuff the game does NOT need.
This game needs class balance.
This game needs rated 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 deathmatches with NO objective other than to kill the other team.
Put those two things in this game and it will thrive.
I am sure this is already very known but I am making a topic on this because it needs changed. It is very strange that there is no option to keybind spells to Mouse wheel forward and back. In every MMO I have played I’ve set my interrupt/silence spell to Mouse wheel forward and my “jump backwards” spell to Mouse wheel backward. For this game I have to completely change how I keybind these 2 basic spells.
I could take or leave all the changes from the latest patch, just add mouse wheel keybinding. Fix this bug please.

I read it again and see nothing wrong with it.
The main problem is that the mobs in dungeons lose aggro if you run far enough away. In WoW’s dungeons, if you were in the instance and a mob aggroed, it would follow you through-out the entire dungeon.
If mobs never lost aggro, players would be forced to clear their way through the instance.
I also support your idea of having regular to champion mobs drop a small amount of tokens.
Doesn’t this seed works only out of combat?

This is more focused toward PvE. I have a boat load of CoF tokens and I don’t know what to use them on. I’ve been running a longbow as my secondary for the knockback and the AoE. But I am thinking about snagging axe/warhorn for the buff.
Not really interested in the sword or dagger, don’t want to melee at all. What do you guys run and why?
When the leader of a group exits the instance after completion, it kicks everyone out. If a player has not grabbed the chest yet, the leader effectively robs the them of it.
This is stupid and should not be in the game.
Change it please.
I am running a Berserker set right now with 6 Superior Runes of the Ranger. I was wondering what the best Sigil is for a weapon for this build?
It seems like the +5% crit chance or +5% damage would be the best, but are they? Any info would be very helpful.
Uhhh, well first, I meant hunters were broken in PvP. PvE is whatever in any game, just fighting a computer. In PvP hunters were massively the least represented class in high end arenas during BC.
And I’m not sure why you got so negative lol. I played a hunter great and I can play my ranger great. I gave you nothing to think otherwise, I simply mentioned that I played a hunter in WoW as well and you assumed I couldn’t handle a ranger on GW2 =p

This is a ranger only problem because 90% of the traits and skills make no sense or are completely useless. I’m sorry you leveled one to 80.
Either way, search for trap or regen Ranger. These are the only 2 viable Ranger builds.
Well, I admit I am very limited on my experience. But right now I’m running with a build that focuses little on traps but has some points into Beast Mastery with the +healing. So far I seem to be easily be the top DPS in instances, I have to reeeeally try to not pull aggro.
On a related note, why is it the ranger ALWAYS has major problems in every MMORPG? I played a hunter heavily in WoW Burning Crusade when they were extremely broken. I played a Bounty Hunter on SW:TOR and they were laughable compared to melee and sorcerers. Seems like no game can ever get the ranger right.
Well the fact is, the numbers have to crunch a certain way. The talents are very ambiguous much of the time. For example, is it better to take a talent that makes my pet do more damage or to load more points into Marksmanship for the extra Precision and Power? Well I don’t know because I don’t know which mathematically does more damage.
I am positive that the “top” rangers have found certain builds that work better than others, and those builds are what I am looking for. Math is math.
Hello, I’m a new 80 ranger. I come from playing a hunter in WoW and a bounty hunter in SW: TOR. Now that I’ve hit 80 I want a build that optimizes damage, though in this game personal survivability seems to be a must as well. I am having problems finding the best build. In WoW and SW:TOR there was always someone crunching the numbers and people were posting versions of the best options for talent trees.
On this forum so far I’ve seen several people saying “I like this build” when posting about talents. But I want the OPTIMAL build. Someone has to have done the math. I am looking for an optimal talent build for PvE and one for PvP. Can anyone help me with this or point me in the right direction? I am not interested in just making up own build and hoping that’s good enough. I am trying to min/max.
Please help.

Hello, I’m pretty new to this game after playing WoW and SW: TOR. So far I have noticed a few things with the controls that are frustrating me.
For example, I’m playing a Ranger and with the longbow the spell on 4 is a knockback. With the short bow, the spell on 3 is the bounce backwards move. I want to have both of these spells bound to mouse-wheel click, but because I can’t seem to move them around or set a hotkey by specific weapon, I have to have them on different keys.
Is there any way around this?
