Guild Wars 2

Hi there!
I’ve been playing GW2 from the beginning with a hellatus pause (4-6 months) in between, due to school (and life). I was in a guild, but after the above mentioned break it became unactive. So now, I’m guildless. But I don’t want to be. Here’s what you should know:

• I’m on Ring of Fire server (if necessary, would change servers)
• I conside myself a partial noob or almost-not-noob
• I have 5 characters, my main is currently lvl 45 Human Thief
• I’m a teenage girl (don’t turn your eyes), therefor I go to school, therefor I have certain responsibilities, therefor I can’t always be online and may not show up for days (perhaps even a week)
• I am interested in PvE, leveling, exploring, doing events, missions, living story – the casual stuff. However, I am willing to adapt, if you are. I’m also a pretty fast learner.
• I can be a social person, if you want me to or I can stay quiet if you don’t want me to talk. I like helping people and talking to them, so long as they are respective. I like to joke and I use sarcasm A LOT.
• I am from Europe, Slovenia. I speak English, Slovene and Serbo-Croatian. I’d say my English is pretty advanced for a 15-year old, though I’m not keen on grammar.

Normally, I wouldn’t post a topic, but I have some trouble finding the “right” life guild for me. When I do find a nice friendly looking guild, they usually accept only adults. Which kinda sucks, but I know they do it for a reason- who’d want a raging hormone influenced teenager on their team? As far as maturity goes… I’m as mature as a teenager can be. Make what you want of it.

Great surnames! If I may in all my modesty add, of those three I think Torgersen flows best with the name. But I like all three very much! I think you have a knack for genuine, yet interesting names.

Nice name. I think. Not a fan, though. It sounds skittish to me. I have no idea why. Actually, just ignore me…

It is hard to answer this question without being the slightest insulting. However, I will try.
One of my characters is a Sylvari ranger. For some, I think, this seems quite generic. But not for me. I have this strange thing of not being able to imagine a Sylvari anything. But at the same time, I seem them in every profession.
Alright, imo, the most “boring” (really don’t like the use of this word) combinations would be a ranger Sylvari, a ranger Norn, an elementalist/thief human, a mesmer asura.

I hate to say this, but… I hated Queen Jennah the moment I saw her. She appeared very not-a-nice-word to me. I don’t know why. I would like to give Logan a few strong hits in his head.

As for her apperance, mah. I think only Logan sees her “as the most beautiful woman in the world”. She’s… not pretty to me.

My stealthy Thief is Neofema Numenor. She’s a nice girl.

I have no idea how I came up with Neofema. Nicknames include, but are not limited to: Neo, Fe, Ema.
Numenor was inspired by the island Númenor and it’s people from The Lord of the Rings.

I like Sakuro very much. Yhin not so… But it’s a good combination, imo.

My ranger is Serafina the Gentle. I know, perhaps a bit cliché, but I like it.

My female ranger uses face #2.

Hmm… Claws.. I like it as a nickname. It’s, um, very simple.

My charr is named Zoella Bloodpaw. You can call her Zoe.

I play a female Charr on Ring of Fire and I do think there are more male characters… though I’ve seen some female too. No, wait, now that I think of it, they were all NPCs.

My norn elementalist: Fae Oddsdottir
Yes, she is a cousin of Gullik Oddsson and a sister of Gyda Oddsdottir (at least in my universe – don’t judge).

Name: Fae (pronounced as in FAY) Oddsdottir

Approximate Age: 24 (beginning of the game)

Race: Norn

Profession: Elementalist

Fae is the younger sister of Gyda Oddsdottir and cousin to Gullik Oddsson. She has yet to make a name for herself and hasn’t been adventuring for very long.

Appearance
Fae is very short for a norn. Wherever she goes, people ask her if she really is a norn, or they think she hasn’t grown yet. She isn’t very muscular or chubby. All in all, she looks like a bigger human woman. She has dark blond hair which she usually keeps in a ponytail. Her eyes are green. She has tattoos on her neck, arms and legs (I think).

History

Youth
Fae was a happy child troughout her life. She didn’t grow up with her sister though, because their parents split up soon after Fae was born. She went to live with her father, who made his home at Frostcreak Steading (Icevine Dale, Wayfarer Foothils) . Fae didn’t have much contact with her sister Gyda or their cousin Gulik. She and her father kept to themselves. When Fae was about 8, her father Gale on one of his hunts found a 13 year old boy, deeply wounded. He took him in and together with his daughter they took care for him. His name was Crag and he grew fond of Fae and Gale and decided to live with them. You might say he even developed a crush on Fae. They all hunted, drank, sang songs, told stories and lived happily untill Gael decided to go assist Hoelbrak in the fight against the dragons. Fae and Crag suspected there was a different reason for it and a while after went looking for him. He was nowhere to be found.
Fae had always been interested in magic so it’s no wonder she became an elementalist. She recieved her training in Twinspur Heaven.
When she was very little, she dreamed of the Spirits and Raven was the one who spoke to her. She had followed him ever since.

Early Life
Fae and Crag were eager to find missing Gael, but they couldn’t both leave the steading, so they decided who’ll go on a classic norn way – with a brawl. Crag had won that one, but the very next day trolls attacked the steading and Crag was wounded. It would take some time to heal, so plans changed and Fae was the one to leave. She bid farewell to Crag and set off. Her first stop was Hoelbrak, where she inquired about her father, but few knew what happened to him. She is still gathering clues and questioning people, never losing hope.
Fae earned money by doing some good ol’ honest work or selling hunting trophies.
When she didn’t look for her father or hunt, she would read or practice with magic.

Current Status
As of moment, Fae is travelling the world, making herself useful and aiding those in need of help. She hopes to find her father and prove to others she is a hero worthy of songs and stories!

Family and Friends
Gale Odsson – her beloved father, whom she adores
Freya the Horrifying – her mother. She hasn’t been in touch with her for years.
Gyda Oddsdottir – her sister, who died in the ruins of Divinity’s Reach. Fae wasn’t very struck by her sister’s death, since they weren’t in good relations. Whenever they were together, Gyda would pick on Fae because she was so “tiny”.
Crag Wilcrucks – Fae’s best and only friend. She truly loves him.

Personality
Temperament
Fae always has a smile on her face and doesn’t let things bring her down. She is never afraid of anything. If her loved ones are in danger, she won’t hesitate to rescue and defend them. She likes to drink, brawl and boast (not always in that order) as the next norn, though she knows when to be cautious and reserved. She likes to help strangers and friends alike. Fae’s life-time wish is to fly.

Quirks
Fae is unusually calm in stressful situations and always keeps a clear head. She believes Raven has bestowed her with a gift – a strong and developed sixth sense.
