I have had exactly the same issue with the drops from Black Lion Chests and, having mentioned it in a recent ticket, it was suggested I post the problem here.

Currently, we have reoccurring (and quite frequent) drops of the Miniature Snow Owl, Hawk and Raven. Prior to that, it was the Super Minis. Not only is it frustrating to be spending actual money to receive rewards I already have, I seem to recall I was able to purchase these minis previously by paying outright. Buyers are actually being penalised by supporting the mini purchases when they are first released when they are spammed through the chests later on.

This is at least partially why I no longer buy minis outright. It is also becoming quickly responsible for my diminished purchase of Black Lion Keys.

Okay, my girlfriend and I got stuck on this for ages. The way we got it unstuck was to finish the instance on the characters we were trying it on, and then we REACTIVATED the story on those SAME characters. We had already completed it on other toons, but it seems like the prerequisite of completing it once is currently not applying to the account but individual characters. This worked for us, even though we originally had the icons saying we were eligible for both achievements.

The instance seems buggy anyway, since we had to reset multiple times when Rytlock wouldn’t proceed, and then we had a round where the ordinances weren’t activating during the tendril fight. The good news was, however, that when my girlfriend failed to make the landing in Stick the Landing, she was able to glide back over, around the seeming impenetrable wall of doom on the bridge, and climb back up to try again.

Okay, so I just experienced this bug, as did my girlfriend. After trying logging out, changing characters and guesting, (which oddly didn’t work for me), I got him unstuck by interacting with the wallow point just in front of him first. I don’t have wallows unlocked yet, but my girlfriend does, and she also experienced success after interacting with it, she even used it to travel but that wasn’t necessary for me. Perhaps there is a conflict between the two?
