Oozo. I think I’ve fought you a few times in the Maguuma matches in the past but not on my guardian, which is actually my main. I’m interested in your build because I have yet to find anything outside of Gs/Hammer entertaining on my guardian for WvW. Whats your build etc?

I would say the success of a server in WvW is mostly indicative of which server can field continual fully queued maps for 24 hours.

Yes, I would agree with that. Honestly, we aren’t so different. I can’t for the life of me understand why players on both our servers are squabbling over nonsense.

Oh I know it wasn’t just us fighting them. I was calling out pushes in mumble outside WK when I saw reports of AoN on the beach. I even messaged Convenant and said hey come have some fun at Mag EK. In the end though they had enough to bullrush lord room and leave enough outside to fight AoN.

And most of Mag doesn’t post on the forums yes, but many of the core leaders and players browse them. The only real negative posts ate the ones that some post that are obviously deliberately trying to ruffle peoples feathers. And even those should be taken with a grain of salt because it’s easy to see what the poster is trying to accomplish.

Its funny how people ate getting the phrases “zerg” and “zerg mentality” confused. We all zerg plain and simple just some more and do it more consistently. To deny you have a zerg when you have 3:1 odds is a farce. Just because your organized doesn’t mean it’s not a zerg. I for one enjoy the fights outside of west keep in mag but was just floored at the numbers it took for you all yo take EK.

To clarify I categorize a zerg of 50+, which is what was required to take EK in Mag bl last night from 20 or so Maguumans. RET and BT groups numbering 20+ each easily plus your randoms. Took you all awhile to break into lord room but when you finally decided to hell with it and just rush the lord room I nearly lagged out and you all capped it.

Ok it’s true. Maguuma is the new Soviet Union. We have that one commander who’s always drunks, talks with an Aussie accent, and can cuss you out like your old man after you drank his last fosters. We also have one who had such a wild attitude hes always yelling “Storming!” in mumble. His accent makes our mesmers weak in the knees and they must oblige him with etheral fields….if not you will be quartered by the Great Lord Flame Ram.

We have janitors in every keep keeping an eye out plus it’s not like you have a good history of keeping your golem rushes hidden. East keep is our baby and I for one usually always WP into it or check it out first thing I do on the map. As for centaur camp zerg mentality can be very predictable especially if your clearing camps or sentries. At the end of the day everyone has spies. There’s been numerous times this matchup I’ve seen ninja plans spoiled cause of what may have been one listening in on mumble. Either way it is what it is. Complaining about it is a waste of hot air bro. Tbh I’ve never led on spy Intel and I know all of our mumble commanders and I feel they play with a good moral code and have a level of integrity to do the same. As someone earlier said we dont need it. But tbh if my zerg ran into yours at centaur camp itd be a wet dream. So isolated out there for no one to run into a fortification and hide just one massive zerg fight. Don’t know what the complaint is. I just like to have fun and kill, isn’t that what were all here for?

He hath blessed Maguuma for we fought, died,and were rebirthed in his almighty fire! But anyway yah Lilj the guild name was chosen for that exact purpose. Glad to see its working.

Yah if I can leave DR with any advice against a server like Kaineng that would be DONT give up. Your gonna have breathers during the NA time slot, RE is there so it won’t be much of a breather, but expect to lose everything to night capping. Like people stated earlier do your best to lose as slowly as possible. For the ones who are fighting through the night capping try to take key points at the 5 minute mark of the point tally. You’d be surprised how coordinated 2-3 man teams can gain a decent amount of points by simultaneously flipping 3-5 supply camps at the same time to get that extra 15-25 PPT. Most of though do not give up despite what may seem like a lose/lose for you all. Be more confident and innovative with your siege placements. I’ve seen some good from you all during our fights but I’ve also seen some facepalm attempts. If your gonna do golems, move them via portal and keep them hidden as much as possible. Thats one thing I noticed and even streamed on twitch.tv. Catching your golems in open field is a major strategic mishap unless your already on a gate. If you don’t have mesmers to do that, make one. Mag is pretty good at that mostly everyone on mumble has or knows a mesmer. They may not be “resident” mesmers but I know most of my guild have all rolled mesmer alts JUST to portal and timewarp. Utilize combo fields more too in open field combat. Ethereals are your best friends, smoke combo fields and water fields are life savers, and fire is great for a pre-push. PM me if you want any more advice I’m an open book. This also goes for BP if you got any questions I have no problems helping you all out. Also, if you want to transfer to Mag nows the time to do it before its no longer free!

Yorgy you are correct. I don’t post often on these forums and I am one of the mumble commanders for Maguuma. One thing we have is indeed amazing communication. Not just that, but despite the forum antics of some, we also don’t pull out our peakitten chests when someone needs help in another borderlands. What you all are seeing, during off-peak time, isn’t a consistent zerg across all borderlands but instead each time a major objective is under siege and we feel we need more to repel we have someone hop into each borderland channel and do a “risk assessment” of the situation there and then relay the information to them about our predicament. One thing we are definitely good at is knowing how many to send and how many to keep. We have some amazing commanders on here as well as mesmers and I hate to see people “tarnish” what we’ve worked so hard to accomplish and learn because they are indeed sore losers. Its bad enough to make me actually login to this forum account and post something. Borlis Pass I used to be with you guys as the WvW leader of LEET before we transferred to Maguuma months ago. You guys got more class than this, and I’m sure that you mainly do its just these select few forum whiners that are giving a negative perspective. And as for the people saying Wa(with the accented a)R band wagon jumped your incorrect. Beautykills had done a stint on Maguuma awhile ago with a few others and was planning to come back but that was delayed. Either way great fights from DR and BP around the board. I’ve plenty of fun fighting you guys and will miss those fights in the weeks to come.

We also use a very large public mumble for alot of our guilds and PUG WvW groups. Highly organized, very efficient core of players.

Maguuma is always looking for people. We are middle of the pack but have a solid organized core WvW group in which our only weakness is Oceanic presence which is improving.

Yah Rebel I put a fair amount of time in last matchup and it was insanely fun but I would be lying if I said it didn’t feel like work sometimes lol I look forward to what next match may bring with another large server tossed into the mix.

On the topic of [FINE] Im glad to see you all come over and have already had a few fun moments commanding alongside you Samusen. Also to EB the actual fights I have had with your main forces have always been fun and enjoyable. Keep it up! And for the record I only /laugh at thieves who try to stealth kill me and fail other than that if you put up a good fight I’ll salute you or even whisper you it your really good.

Town clothes? The other day we were running around in nothing but boots killing people. It was definitely fun. Now I know why Invalid runs in the nude so much nothing beats the breeze between your legs when you down someone nude.

I finally dragged myself to post in these forums and I really dont have much to say. EBay I wasn’t there for your reset presence but got on later and had some solid fights till about 4am server time. As for the rest of the week I hope we can get some more fights like that. Trust Maguuma when we say we hate being in this position. There’s too few zerg vs zerg fights and not enough enemy objectives available to level our lowbies! Come on EBay I really want an engineer for some weird reason but I hate PvE!
