Hello! I am very excited to be coming back to GW2 as it seems to have everything I was hoping for in an MMO, especially the varied end-game between dungeons, fractals, exploring and collecting.

However, one of the biggest things for me in an MMO is finding an active guild that just has fun chatting and makes a fun community experience. I joined the NOOB dungeon mentors guild and it seems awesome, but nobody seems to chat in it. Perhaps I just don’t understand how “representing” in a guild works though. I’d love the opportunity to join other fun noob friendly guilds though just to have people to chat with as I level up and explore this wonderful game.

Oh I forgot they introduced collections, those sound like a ton of fun! I wonder if they provide interesting bonuses or reasons to collect them.

I really appreciate the information, it sounds like the end game has quite a bit of variety to it!

Hello! So I bought the game around release and got an engineer to max level before I quit. I quit for a few reasons, mostly personal. School was taking up way more time was the main reason. But I also felt lost most of the time playing and group content like dungeons I felt like I was just tagging along and not being very helpful. Now these dungeons I did were all story mode paths so I know they weren’t very hard.

So now I’ve come back as I have more time and I just really wanted a good MMO that has a variety of end game content that is meaningful. I’m definitely considering grabbing HoT.

So here is my question: what does end game consist of? I adore jumping puzzles and the idea of just traveling around completing the map and doing quests is enticing! But when I’m max level, is there a point to doing heart quests and mapping and jumping puzzles? As for dungeons, I’m not a hardcore player… Can I still find groups to play with and do all the dungeons no matter what class I am? What else, other than PvP, is there to do end game to keep me logging in and having fun? I have no problem with grinding as long as the grind is not completely RNG based, where if I do a 40 minute dungeon there is a chance I will get literally nothing for it. I don’t mind if I don’t get a certain piece of gear or an item, but I do want at least SOMETHING for my time, even if it’s just currency. I’d really appreciate any insight into this!

Thank you!
