Looks like it’s meant to be like that, because of reflections and the surrounding lighting.

I’d bet that if you turn down your shaders under the graphics options, it would look as black as it does in the preview.

As you can see from the following picture: http://i65.tinypic.com/351ede1.jpg The color Shadow Abyss is supposed to make the outfit look really dark but, after applying the dye the color shifts to a gray-ish looking black. Is it an outfit bug/glitch? Or Is that how it is supposed to look? Do you suffer from the same problem?

Wait! Aren’t the 10 gold that you hopefully have in your wallet worth more because of this?

Thank you Kiba. And yes, I agree that i need to get out of harms way while in full berserker, otherwise is death. How is your damage output with tanky gear?

@Fluffball Thank you. That’s one of the guides i was reading earlier today. I am thinking of going full berserker until 80 and once i get to the new zones change my equipment to either Rabid/Sinister/Viper depending on which one is easier to get and work my way up.

This will be my first time playing ranger and i would like suggestions for a exclusive PvE build (No dungeons, Fractals, Raids) just for map completion and have it as my hopefully HoT main (New maps). I am currently looking at two builds either full power zerker or condition damage, i have never played a condi class, so i am thinking of giving it a try. What do you guys think?

It is such a great idea. So good it has been recommended a few times before. Hasn’t been implemented and my opinion is it never will be. I guess i’m wrong though.

I have owned the game since release, today I decided it was time to upgrade to HoT and I did! I do have a few questions though, not about the game but actually about the items you get with said expansion. A friend of mine got an extra character slot and a bag slot after getting the expansion, he was a F2P player and purchased the Standard edition. I purchased the Ultimate edition and got an extra character slot, a mini, a finisher, a guild hall decoration, a glider skin and 4000 gems (as the description indicates) Was I supposed to get 2 character slots + bag slot? Also, I asked this to a nice person in game But since I already owned a copy of the base game Do I get an extra copy of the core game or is that only for F2P players who are planning to upgrade and new players?

I will tell you guys the best experience i’ve had with the game, maybe it helps. Crafting Mawdrey. I am not smart enough to explain it but this was the only time i actually felt good WHILE getting a piece of armor/weapon (crafted 4 legendaries, sold 3 on the TP)
anyways. I am hoping that crafting the new legendaries will be akin to the proccess of crafting mawdrey only 10-20 times longer (meaning better) I hate WvW and yet i managed to get 2000 badges of honor.
