All this fish mini tells me is that ANet is running out of ideas and has terrible resource management.

Once again, Mesmers find a way to become relevant again in the meta and the community is up in arms. That class has been nerfed to the ground and was pigeonholed into this role, leave them be.

As a frequent gem purchaser, maybe 10-20 dollars every paycheck, this change will keep my money in my wallet. Never buying gems again as long as this system is in place. Very distasteful ANet. You’ve lost yet another customer with your unnecessary changes and horrible decision making. I know a cash grab when I see one. Sad to see such a revolutionary and innovative videogame slowly being ruined due to poor management. You’re bleeding yourselves out….

Or you can stop crying and realize your class finally needs skillcap to play. You think mesmers enjoyed the constant blinds and dodges you throw at them? You think they enjoy the fact stealing on them gives you ALL BOONS? You think they like having no counter to your condi builds? Just be quiet and take your nerfs like a man, mesmers have dealt with unbalanced thieves for over a year.

I personally think that the reason why they’re not buffing thieves is that everyone is just crying all the time about how they’re OP , which they’re not. But who cares, I’m still gonna rip them all a new one regardless of the changes. xD

Thieves aren’t OP as a whole, but Black Powder and S/D builds are. I have a thief toon and it’s kitten easy to get away from any situation with the BP + HS combo. This unlimited “Get Out Of Jail Free” card needs to be removed. Thieves have way too much leeway in those builds when it comes to getting unlimited resets. It’s not balanced whatsoever. Committing a mistake usually results in death on other classes, I’m glad you guys will finally feel that pain.

Confirmed. I did the PvE monthly weeks ago and got 10 laurels. Today I completed my PvP Monthly due to this rumor. Confirmed, I got another 10 laurels. This was before they kicked us off for a new build an hour ago.

Change the clone to spawn on target instead of walking; problem solved. Don’t put a skill in your game that can’t be fixed due to limitations, that’s just plain ignorant.

At least the casino gives me free drinks. This is just highway robbery. I just wanted to vent my disgust in this “luck over skill” system. The March WvW update is all that’s keeping me here now. I’m done with this game’s PvE.

Today marks my 1000th attempt at Dusk or Dawn (yes I kept track). That’s 4000 rares and still not one precursor. I’d like to give a Big Bird to the Mystic toilet and the devs that coded it. That is all.

Hello forum. I have a question regarding fractal backpieces. I have aquired the first step in the capacitor (the exotic version). I have crafted an ascended backpiece with stats that I found more suitable for my build using the mystic forge recipe. It is possible to Transmute the skin of the Fractal piece with the stats of the Crafted piece and essentially skip the 250 ectos for step 2? Would the end result still be able to upgrade to level 3 and have the awesome skin?

Dueling is not a barometer for skill in WvW. We don’t duel frankly because we do not enjoy it. Some duels we have accepted has been met with individuals who then completely re-arrange their traits and builds JUST for a fight with us, then go on an anger spree demanding more fights until they “win last”. Waiting 10 minutes for a group trying to “counter-build” us is quite honestly boring as kitten. Duels do have one upside: they are entertaining to watch when we have our lunch and dinner breaks. We’re all entitled to play this game in a manner we find entertaining; if you like dueling, more power to ya, its just not AoN’s cup of tea. If you want to fight us so bad, be in your regular builds, and find us on the battlefield

Any chance that I can transmute my legendary to another character without losing its integrity? I’ve worked so hard to achieve my dagger; hate to see it stowed away because a necro stole my heart <3

The price of basic materials (ore,scraps,etc.) will drastically fall with the influx of mats everyone is gathering from their dailies. TP’ers will find a way to get their profits back. I expect a spike in the tier specific mats (blood,scale,fangs,etc) because of this. Buy your bloods now :P

Leave it to ANET to promote the SoR server events on their FB one week before paid transfers. Everybody and their mother went there.

Having a thief myself I will admit to them being overpowered. I’ll get 16-17k Mug+Backstab combos, and I must admit, I feel cheap as hell doing it. I believe an increase to Cloak and Dagger cooldown and the complete removal of Mug will lead us in the right direction to fixing this broken class. Lets not forget Culling issues, which ends up giving thieves an extra 1-3 seconds of “broken stealth”.

20 minutes have passed and still no items or my missing gold. Too scared to put money into the TP right now. Game is pretty much unplayable too with all the disconnects. A roll back will most likely be coming soon. I suggest to not invest too much time into anything until these issues are resolved.

Yup. I think TP just ate 3 of my gold. I bought some materials, it took my money, and gave me nothing. I’ve been waiting over 10 minutes and it still hasn’t shown up. I’m also getting disconnected for absolutely everything right now I work in retail, and haven’t had a day off since Thursday. I finally have my day off after the weekend from hell and can’t even enjoy a little game time.

I’ve been experiencing this lag problem for about 2 weeks now. I’ve bought a new router, a new wireless adapter, ran speedtests, and even contacted my ISP. Everything on my end is running just fine. I am experiencing massive lag during large group engagements. I’m not experiencing any FPS issues, just really bad skill lag when there’s more than 10-15 people on my screen. It’s making WvW and Cursed Shore farming impossible. Fractals can only be ran during my servers off-peak times or else I might run the chance of getting booted from that too! My ISP is Comcast and I’m in Miami, Florida. Even this forum is a little shaky.Fix your malfunctioning servers, this is on your end!

Anet needs to implement some sort of queue restriction based off of map population. Nightcapping is getting out of control across all matchups. Whoever nightcaps, wins. We shouldn’t be hindered a victory because we can’t play video games at 4am.
