After another week of huge zergs running riot over all the maps, left me lamenting the outnumbered “buff” and its usefulness or lack thereof. cut to the chase.
why doesn’t said buff actually give a real buff to the server, that would give them a chance to fight back. my thoughts were along the lines of multiplying every players health by the amount they are outmanned. eg if there are 10 defenders and 50 invaders, multiply the defenders health by 5, thereby giving the same amount of effective health to each side.
toughness would remain unchanged, keeping damage reduction in line. damage would need some increase, but would be difficult to determine.
as a trade off, wxp from the buffed players would be multiplied by the same factor.
ideas, improvements, critiques are welcomed.
