Im new to GW2 so I apologize if I ask anything overly repetitive , Ive been told GW2 is not like other mmorpgs due to the fact it has many different builds linked with professions , such as rangers using melee weapons despite the common belief that they only use bows. So I’d like to get some guidance on a melee ranger or survivalist rangers in terms viable/ difficultly in pve and dungeons , pvp and WvW is not as important to me currently , ive always preferred pve content in any game.
Hi , I’m new relatively new to GW2, Ive been playing a warrior for a while now enjoying it but Id like to try other classes that are not heavy armor users and like to hear some suggestions 1st in regards to a non heavy armor class/build for Pve/dungeon. So, melee ranger or survivalist rangers viable/ difficultly? thief melee builds viable/difficulty? or perhaps a class/build that might interest me?, that’s not listed.

I’m new to GW2 and have been playing a charr warrior. So far I feel like I lost track of the main quest line or there is no main quest line perhaps? Are there addons in this game to perhaps help me feel more organized in questing.

So I heard about the 75% off deal and I bought in. Now looking for some insight on Elementalists, this is one of 3 profession I’m looking into , others being warrior and thief.
I understand the name elementalist tells you what the class is about but I’m wondering if there are hybrid builds? While looking at youtube videos , I came across a video of a ranger using a melee weapon and so that raises my second question are hybrids meant for experienced and well geared players?
