Whats the point of so much precision. Warriors can keep up a constant fury buff, so increasing vit and toughness over precision would help out alot more in the long run. Power should always be that high, so I agree with that at least.

(have a bad habit of skipping other comments but..) I think that having your precision that high is really unnecessary. Warriors have so many ways to keep up a constant fury buff, and even with a total of 50% crit chance, you’re still hitting like a truck.

I WvW 80% of the time any more, and this build is pretty nice. My only complaint is that getting more vit would be nice for myself. Here’s a pic of my stats, if you’d like to try it out shoot me a private message, but if not then meh, we all like different builds. :P

20/20/30/0/0 has been pretty solid for me. Golem runes from CoE, pwr/tough/vit gear, and zerker jewelry just gives me a great well rounded build.

I have no idea if its a popular build or if people use the same traits, buuuuut its a lot of fun and I can solo anything except for a good mesmer/ele. (WvW build not spvp, haven’t tried it there)

Before I moved to HoD I was running a guild for duels on FA in WvW. We recruited from other servers in our group for competition and had strict rules against this. Anyone exploiting should just be reported and kicked from the guild. This guild may not have been behind this as a whole but as only a few exploiters. Everything will have its pros and cons but this is such a small scale exploit, that I really don’t think it matters (of course still report). So I don’t see how calling for guild restrictions on members would even help or hinder this exploit.

Figured I’d stop and say hey to the other servers. I recently xfered back here from FA a couple weeks ago, and am starting to really enjoy this match up. GoM always seems like the little brother that gets picked on too much, while DH is just the big brother that decides which of the the two of us gets to be the focus of punishment for the day. Of course GoM and HoD tend to team up on DH at times, but this normally results in one of us back stabbing the other regrettably. But hey at least we’re havin fun

PS I’d like to give some credit to [BS] (i think thats the tag for basic) on GoM. Your small guild is pretty sick out there. You guys alot can put up a better fight than any other guild I’ve seen on the other servers (with less number than your fighting).

No I don’t have anyone that I know on the euro servers, but I’m definatly for a euroguild doing the same thing. When I get more time I’m going to be making a site for it to plan some tourneys for my servers arenas, and hopefully appoint people in charge of their own servers activities through the guild. It’s a big plan but I think if people really want this to work we could get this going.

Hey guys, I’m Shaad from Fort Aspenwood. I’m making this post to try and get more people to join a guild that me and X Infamous X (from Tarnished coast) made to get people, from different servers and guilds who are interested in arena type fighting in WvW, in one spot to make it easy to set up.

We’ve decided to grab people from different servers so we will be able to keep on doing the arena even when the servers are rotated. Ranks are set up to list peoples servers to help make this easier. We’re wanting people to be open to learning through this so we can have more fun and ask that no one talks crap after beating someone unless obviously they know you’re just joking.

Meeting spots will be discussed between servers or just in the jump puzzle whenever enough people who are interested are on. (sadly fights may get broken up by other guilds just to mess with us, so we’d want to have a large showing so we can fend it off, also it would be smart for the people in the same server as the attacking guild to back off so they don’t get mistaken for the enemy)

The guilds name is [duel] (A R E N A). It can be a place to meet friends from across servers, learn, or even just enjoy yourself to keep you interested in the game. You don’t have to rep us in the arena, we just have this set up so people could set up arenas easier.

I’ve vs’d some thieves with my sword and board spec with great-sword secondary. I haven’t had to many issues with them because I’m also spec’d for shouts. Key to taking them on is to get your own bleeds on them, while purging yourself. That should put you in a survival situation, which places the thieves at a disadvantage. Some tend to take out their bow thinking they can kite while dropping you over time. Just make sure you have the 10 pt’s in you’re defensive tree for reflecting projectiles and even then the thieves melt in their own burst.

Obviously if they catch you off guard you’ll be hard pressed to beat them 1v1, but that’s just the benefit to being a thief. They are great at 1v1’s and surprise attacks, but group fights and fights that last longer than 10 seconds is where they lose their edge.

WvW is a great way to get karma, and for PvPers that want gear its pretty rewarding.

As for rewards, I’d say put it as the top 3 for the month to receive some cool chest that gives you things that won’t improve your servers strength over other servers. This game from what I’ve seen has always been about balance, and if they do give rewards it should probably be strictly vanity. Plus it should require a player to be eligible for a reward if they have completed X amount of evens in WvW.

Though I’m not really worried about rewards, my friends and I have always PvPed just to PvP in every MMO we’ve played. Ya gadda learn to make your own fun/purpose if you really want to enjoy this game for a long time, because even rewards will get boring unless they make your server stronger.
