Guild Wars 2

I never had this problem till about a month ago and really it’s just a quality of life issue. Before, you tab ONCE in options that you don’t want the game muted when GW2 is in the background.

But since recent patches no matter if you clicked it or not, relogging the client will ALWAYS put it back onto muting it when tabbing out. It’s rather annoying having to change it every single day or moment i relog the client when it should be a permanent thing unless i check otherwise in the options.

Sounds about right. A stress test without telling anyone as well as single-handedly one of the most boring kitten events known to gw2.

I was already getting bored as hell of this game…then this event happened.

Same here. Yet people who kept it in their banks are rolling around with it. Im kinda jealous…

So I noticed a Charr today rolling around with the new glider skin you get for purchasing HoT a month ago. However, there’s no toggleable way to get it unless you had it in your bank prior. Is there going to be a tab for switching the skin later? Or did those of us who used it when we bought it (before beta) get screwed over and can’t use the skin? Because I roll around in the old, newbie skin.

Just a curious thought, really. I found zero info ingame so far as to if this is a thing or not. Just “have it in your bank” and that guy was able to roll with it.

Lately ranger’s down state skill “Lick Wounds” has the pet return to you, but does not start healing you. It just instead stands there. I had several events where this has happened since the patch three days ago. out of 30 tries, only 4 were even successful in starting the healing. Rest of the time it just stands there with you kitten ing.

My history of Sub-based MMOs (Trust me, not as pretty as you’re glossing it over to be.)

Phantasy Star Online – $8/month, my first MMO. Shut down their servers rather quickly.

Aion – $15/month – Went free to play after 2 years and continues to take massive craps on itself with worse and worse updates.

Tera – Went free to play after first year – Getting better, but was horrible when it was a $15/month sub

Wildstar – $15/month and is probably the largest hype i’ve participated in in a while, and flopped harder on it’s face than the guy grinding down a guardrail into the pavement. It’s still 15/month and it’s playerbase QQs pretty hard about lack of content/population/“hardcore” content aka more raids no one has attunements for.

Archeage – $15/month if you plan to farm or do anything worthwhile. Free to play otherwise. Still a horrible game, though.

Guild Wars 2 has honestly come out with more content and game changing alterations than i’ve seen in a VERY long time. And I was quit since first month of the game until recently. It was like coming into a new game – everything had changed. If you seriously think this game never came out with content, you’re obviously not looking at every angle of it. This game might be a buy to play model, but they are sure has hell putting out content faster than some other MMOs that have been on the market recently.

I’ve literally begun to have a distain for MMOs that go Sub based. the only thing useful with the model is blocking BRs from taking over the faction chat. After that, subs are horrible or get worse over time.

Not anymore. As of Dec 2nd their patch notes state this:

“Improvements

The Replica Job-o-Tron Backpack will stop talking when the Hide/Unhide check box is unchecked."

I think I am the only one disappointed that we have to show our Job O Trons 24/7 just to hear his witty comebacks. Should of honestly just put an option in the options for people who are honestly irradiated by the thing lol I hate the look of this thing and I just wanted to hear him I feel like I wasted my gems on this thing now lol

Mine has a dark look to him because he’s a mercenary and a bit of a dark history with nearly being turned into a nightmare court member xD he was freed by one of our many, MANY saviors…but it still left a mark on him :<

9/10 – I love me a good story~ Sadly, given how its 4 in the morning and I finally started to headdesk my keyboard in the midst of 100%ing my map after a 5 month quit for bugs to be fixed – I can’t think of one kitten thing to make a RP kinda post for my Charr just yet! Someday~ I had one. Just can’t remember it on a sleep-coma

My Charr’s name is Chronas Frostfur. For starters, Chronas has been my username for just about, well, everything. Except for the rare occassions where someone steals my name

Since reading how Charr have last names based on their warbands, I chose Frost for Chronas, since in previous games whenever i played a mage I enjoyed the water/ice attuned spells than anything else. And my previous game, Aion, I was a Sorcerer that tended to subconsciously knock someone out via ice in the face than an inferno straight off the bat. (or in the latter terms, a Glacial Shard in the face now!) So, Frostfur felt suitable.

Ironically enough, after making a condition build, I tend to stick more to bleeds! haha. Silly Earth Attunement!
