This seems to be a common thing with teleport abilities in games. The biggest issue is making sure that the teleport is not exploited to get to places the character is not meant to go without a teleport. I’ve seen the same issues with my Mesmer’s blink and is somewhat inconsistent on when it will or wont work against certain elevations or gaps. I’ve also seen this problem back in the day with mage’s blink in WoW.
I wouldn’t call it so much of a bug as I would say it is probably over-restricting parameters placed on it to make sure it wouldn’t be exploitable.
I have been trying this trait out and I am finding the regeneration to be inconsistent and unreliable. Sometimes it can take up to 8 seconds to get a single cast of regeneration on me from my phantasm, which can take longer than the entire life of the phantasm in many cases!
What is supposed to be the functionality of the regen on phantasms, how often is it supposed to cast? What is the radius of the cast, could I be missing it somehow when they are summoned?
I think this trait has amazing potential (especially when combined with Illusionary Membrane), but as it stands, I am simply not getting the benefit of it when summoning my phantasms.
