I think the perfect mix would be;
- The difficulty of the named legendary acolytes
- The mechanics from the Sovereign Eye of Zhaitan.
The acolytes keep you on your toes, but aren’t too hard, while the Sovereign Eye of Zhaitan is really unique and interesting with alot of tactics involving positioning. Mix those two together and you’d have an awesome DE that I would never get tired of doing!
After a few days in Orr and teaming up with large groups of players, I couldn’t help but find myself really bored with events that required a Champion kill.
In the lower zones, I recalled fighting champions with just a few players and we had to use our wits to survive – but once it turns into 10+ players the event becomes incredibly dull. The Champion has absolutely no chance of killing anyone, the only thing that seems to scale is health. Events would be alot more interesting if they actually scaled correctly (mind you, all events are trivalized by large numbers, but Champion events is my main concern)
I was hoping more fights would be like that of the Sovereign Eye of Zhaitan. Out of all of the events/dungeons I’ve been a part of thus far, that fight was THE best and most fun. Why can’t other Champion fights be like that instead of a tank and spank zergfest?
