Hey guys just an update:

Our Network Engineering Team has thoroughly investigated this issue and we have been unable to find anything that would indicate that this is an issue on our end. This does appear to be a widespread issue in the Latin American region which spans multiple countries and so I would recommend getting in contact with your ISP to see if there is anything on their end that can be done to alleviate some of this lag.

I’m sorry for any inconvenience and frustration this may have caused you all but unfortunately there isn’t anything that we can do in this particular case as it appears to be affecting multiple games and multiple ISP’s within this region.

You mention it’s affecting multiple games, could you name at least one? Everyone mentioned that their issues are exclusively with gw2, myself included, so I havent heard of anything related to these “other games”.

Could you please enlighten us about some of those “changes in files” you talk about?

Same here, lag started monday 07/01/2013 at around 8pm central, was perfectly fine before.

Neither will I, but since there’s a 1 month free trial its worth the attempt ;P

Thanks for compiling the list of ISPs Dannz. Feel free to edit your post and add Tigo as an isp for Paraguay. I have a friend who plays with me during the weekdays and we both started to have the same lag issues at pretty much the same time last week (monday 07/01/2013, at around 8pm) even tho we are on diferent isps.

I tried using WTFast earlier and it didint fix the problem for me :/

Bump, having mostly skill lag since 07/01/2013, everything but gw2 works fine.

Experiencing mostly skill lag since 07/01/13. Everything else works perfectly fine (downloading, other games, streaming, etc) with the exception of GW2.

Same problem here. EVERYTHING else works fine (streaming, downloading, other games, you name it) except GW2. Waiting for at least a response -.-
