Soulbeast (ranger) had a good simple rotation from range. Spellbreaker (warrior) was quite easy and refreshing change from normal zerker builds. Warriors are also welcome to most groups in any area of the game should you be looking for a main class.
Deadeye (thief) is another simple class but needs a fair bit of speed for reaction times.

For complexity I would avoid mirage and weaver.

Out of curiosity what class are you running a power build on?

The daily is actually called ‘Rated Match’
Rated refers to a pvp match you queue for, this daily can be completed in both ranked and unranked matches. You don’t ever need to touch ranked pvp to complete any daily challenge in the heart of the mists.

Open world i agree with above sw/p has been the better option for me, mob clear does get insane. For spvp i prefer sw/d you can bunker down a node by being an annoying evasion tank, with solid sustainable damage, your not as bursty as your d/p brethren but you can sit on a node happily duking it out.

If i decide to join the zerg on deadeye, my only objective is gank the commander, focus fire the backliners, and work on dealing with flankers skirting around the zerg fight.
A single target glass cannon with that much range can be invaluable if you make the right choices.
