Any word on when the new weapon abilities are coming or info about them? I’m hoping to see mesmers get main hand pistol and torch abilites.
This is all supposed to show ele’s some love lol. Yeah okay, that’s why the current skills we do have that are decent are being weakened. Arcane shield for example, look at its changes.

And this thread. On the provided link there isn’t one comment about weapon or utility skills. But alas ele users and none users agree ele def needs help. And in regards to your “operator” comment; if you take a good “operator” of an class vs a good “operator” of an ele I will still base my bets on any vs an ele (except a ranger;they need help too).
roflmao sry had to post this regarding all of the “classes” and their roles in dungeons. Any class can be whatever role they want to be (if they’re good at it) stop expecting someone else to carry your load. On Guild Wars 2 we’ve had majority of the same exact skills/traits for too long by now. And you’ll meet players that can def surprise you and wonder what/how they’re running that toon.
Not true, all the times I’ve ran it I’ve received a chest every time but once. It may be bugged, but I have numerous people that can verify I’ve got the chest. Now the lvl 50 chest should be better/different from the 40+ chest.
lol come do any dungeon with me, especially stack on a lvl 50 fractal no matter which path and I’ll show you why frostbow is awesome, even the new ele heal skill. Sometimes I’ll run and not cast one skill to see how the party does, ele’s are awesome. And this “heavy” only in fractal party searches is pathetic. I’ve been in parties and ran Fractal lvl 50 in less than 30 minutes the whole way through.
Your server keeps asking guilds/people from other servers to come and help beat Claw at various hours (at night especially); aren’t your commanders/guild leaders helping it’s own members/numbers? I’ve even visited your server during these times and find myself bringing more guild members of my own guild helping than everyone present.
The frequent fractal runners and hope with an expansion to fractals (and Guild Wars 3 + more dungeons with more party members). Anet you did an amazing job with this dungeon. I remember playing guild wars 1 for years, and Urgoz HM. (And my guilds 15 minute HM runs. It would be awesome if you added it some how to Guild Wars 2 c(: ) It would be awesome if you introduced some new skins for gear in fractals, lvls 50+, and levels. We know you expanded it a little bit, and added a couple new things. But it would be amazing if you gave us long time fractal runners, something to make people’s mouths drop when they saw it. I know you got a lot of grief over the new light armor, and other aspects in the game; but by far fractals is one of the best things you’ve done in this game. I look forward to what you’re going to offer especially with the new ascended armor. And I thank you for everything you’ve done and are trying to do. (Alas, I wish you all the best holidays and a happy New Year! The card was awesome, surprised me as much vs last year ;-) )
Giving each character the same mini, and prizes is a huge let down. On Guild Wars 1 you were able to get a random mini years 1-5 and a random tonic on year 6. I was hoping ANet would provide a much better reward system (even if it was random) for their loyal players that keep playing the game. To be honest the mini rewards weren’t that great, but the tonics were def worth it. I hope Anet reconsiders this reward system and truly surprises their players.
Yep a lot of dc’s going on. Haven’t been on in a while and it’s def not motivating to play again with such issues.
It’s def a lag situation coming from somewhere on Anet’s side. I’ve been playing since beta and have NEVER had lag before. Even on a simple map u can get lag, and it has been reported from hundreds of people all over. Including guildies with top of the line equipment. I’m sure Anet is aware of this.
I’ve encountered the same issue and I have never lagged on Gwars 2 since it’s been out, even during the Karka event I did alright. I read on another thread removing the game and re-installing helped. I’m going to try that and I’ll report my results here. Whatever is going on is going to cause Anet to lose a lot of loyal players if it isn’t resolved. I wish you all the best of luck ;-)
