Its getting to the point where I’m not sure whats the most annoying, people hacking the orbs, or the puerile threads that spring up afterwards blaming the entire server population for the action of a few.

If you see someone hacking report/get their kitten name and screenshots (preferably fraps them as well). If they’re in one of our server alliance guilds they’ll get kicked from guild, banned from the server teamspeak and then stuck on our wall of shame. This is all we can do until Anet takes their head out of their kitten and starts banning people for hacking.
Or you could post yet another thread blaming an entire server for orb hacking as an excuse for why you’re not doing so well for points this week……………

From SF, member of Futilez to be precise and I know for a fact the only real late night play that we organize for is the Friday and Saturday nights, as playing wvwvw can be pretty kitten funny when you’re all half cut from being out drinking all night. It’s also why you will see a lot of us dieing from falling off things on those particular dates.

I’ve been liking the matchup this week, it’s been a pity that the bugs have resulted in a lot of people from all three servers stopping wvwvw until they’re resolved.

The orb hacking was ridiculous as well, especially that one SFR player (cocobloco.4617/Edwardus Maximus) who got named and shamed on our community website (http://pevepe.net/gw2forum/page/1/m/6083582/viewthread/4493938-orb-hack-cocobloco4617-edwardus-maximus), got kicked from guild and then proceeded to change to Desolation and Kodash and destory SFR’s alters and steal the orbs when we got them as some misguided revenge. Anet really needs to sort this hacking bullkittene out and ban everyone whose engaged in it.

Anyway, has been good playing with you Kodash and Desolation, hope we get to do it again sometime Don’t let the moronic minority of hackers taint the game for you.

Only class/race combination that can poledance (staff #4!)

If your going to go a mixture of karma/crafted gear, I strongly recommend you get the karma chest/legs as they cost the most mats to make when crafting, yet all karma armor is 42k regardless of slot. Also make sure you pick the armor on stats, not it’s rune. You can replace the rune, you can’t change the stats.

Wv3 = Staff + something else, I swap between Hammer and GS depending on the group i’m with.

If defending on top of the walls Tome of Wrath (spam 1, watch for retaliation though), jump down, pop wall of reflection in front of the gate, dodge back in (Stand your ground is a big help).
If at the gate, staff autoattack goes through this as does other aoe’s, so your hitting usually 3 people and the ram(s).
Keeping aoe retaliation (GS/Hammer) and aoe protection (hammer) up on rams/operators/yourself is a big help, as is running back and poledancing (empower) for your ranged classes.
Line/Ring of warding is great for dropping in front of the enemy entrance to stop people diving with low health.

Wall of reflection is your most damaging ranged skill and provides the most giggles are you watch all the glass cannon specced range classes kill themselves because theey’ve gone afk autoattacking the gate
