After a 15m fight between 3 servers we were able to take StoneMist Castle(me and the whole guild in the circle holding it). Half of the guild got credit while others didn’t.
We assumed it was tagging the lord but that wasnt the case from what we could tell(some people who came into the ring last second got credit while those that had been tagging lord did not).
Is this a common occurrence or just from mad world lag?

I think it’s about time we get some Fight Clubs going because apparently CD nor BP has any one that can/wants to solo roam. Too busy hiding behind their Veterans and Ballistas every time we ran across them or couldn’t honor the rules of engagement for a 1v1(if 2 people are fighting, don’t jump in just to get xp). I was roaming with urbanevil earlier and never found a good 2v2. Just the unlucky 2v2 that turned into 2v ~8

Also for luls, I believe this is BPs Seigerazor that is an IOJ spy that teleport hacked his way inside our tower(we capped it after he had started afaik, so i think it bugged) and filled it from ~20 to 100 supply.

Oh, my apologies. I skimmed looking for “caithe” not secret room.
Then I don’t know. I guess it bugged? Cause the only thing we did different was that I ran and did all the chests first(before anyone else opened them).
We had the issue until we realized that there is one to follow Caithe right after the boss dies(its timed so you basically have to follow her) because she does a little talking and the door to the room to do her optional part is timed.
But to make it easy, after the boss dies stay by caithe and she will keep talking. In the amount of time she spent talking the captain that is trying to escape will have made his way down.
So :
-Kill the escaping captain when he reaches the door leaving the boss room.
-Follow caithe up the ramp to the little door where you get Scarlets secret room achieve.( be warned this part IS timed and everyone will need to walk into the room together)
-Interact with the suggestion box and kill the vet that spawns. The door will then open and you are free to leave to do the other optionals.
-Have 4 of the 5 members jump down to help the lionguard(most should still be alive)
-1 member starts doing the EMP/chests.
-After finishing with the lionguard its fairly easy.
*note- if 1 person has 5 keys, they can open all 5 chests to complete chest optional event to get the AnB achieve for everyone.
Or you know, you could do it the easy way?
when you get to the room have your 2 tankiest run in(1 on each path) before spaki lights the fires. After the elementals spawn the 2 beefy people should be able to agro and pull the eles to the end by the gears and kite while 2 of the 3 renaming group members freely kite the ooze with no issue.
Used this method every time and finished in 1 pull with pugs and guildies alike. It works.
Stepping in the oil gives the pheromone too
Lol people complaining before actually trying to figure out the puzzles to this dungeon. It was even said in the video to use previous things you learned in the further parts to the dungeon.
The gas comes from how many oil fields are on the ground. Stepping in the oil or using the plant to the right of the door gives you ooze pheromone. Have a tanky person kite it cleaning up oil. Nuke Sparki to stop the burn dmg. Once sparki is dead, slick gets frenzy so you cant stop all the oil but you can surely get a lot of it and keep the DoT dmg to a minimum.
As the kittene states, I was wondering about the command line arguments of GW2. I wasn’t exactly sure where to put this, so if a mod needs to move it, I apologize in advance. But back to arguments, more specifically:
-Perf; Has not worked since Beta, would love to be able to have this available to me the same as used on Dev Clients. (not game breaking, just for us players who like to keep track of information)
-Multi; Now i can slightly understand this one as multiboxing is a huge issue and against the ToS. But it has also been clarified that you can run 2 accounts at the same time, just independent of each other and not with the same key functions effecting both clients at the same time or a program running either of the clients. I just happen to own 2 accounts and had to find a way around being able to have both up on the same computer at the same time.
-useoldlauncher; The most upsetting of them all. I LOVED the old log in from Beta.
I know it makes log in slower but just having it there for the nostalgia would be awesome. I dont mind taking a minute or two(or 30 listening to the music) to log in.
Questionable ones that I have not had verified by fellow guild-mates:
-BMP; Doesn’t seem to work, but I may be wrong.
-shareArchive; This may be on my end since I’m no longer getting the GW2 pop-up about the archive in use.
The main point is, is there any way that we will see any of these(or similar) arguments make their way back into the client?
Great fights tonight from ET/DR.
To that ET engi that I(asuran Hammer&Axe/Shield warr) was 1v1ing on the bridge to ruins from redlake, Great fight. Sorry I left before actually getting downed but my guild was asking for me to meet up with them. But i’ll admit my defeat. The well timed supply drop got you a good advantage.
To any Anet developer, or any passingby reader, would you think that there are any plan to implement permanent versions of past finishers(i.e. the Super Explosive Finisher) since i still have 4 of the 5 i bought a long time ago, in hopes that I could eventually have a permanent version.
With the introduction of this patch i thought that wish would come true, but come to find out they aren’t permanent. Even if i have to, I would purchase a permanent version if they were ever introduced.

Lets play the game, how long does it take HARD to take a paper bay with 0 supply when they have a 40 man group vs 15 DR. Will be posting updates. So far 3 catas and 4 arrow carts on HARD side gone.
Edit 2: Currently Trebbing a paper wall with 3 trebs from SW tower. Pictures to follow soon
Edit 3: After losing the trebs with 40 people in the tower they realized it was a paper keep again and just zerged rams, currently in inner. Total siege time of 45 minutes so far.
Edit 4: An hour later they managed to will themselves through 2 very strong paper gates with only 8 flame rams and pull to victory through the horde of DR defenders to claim Bay keep in the name of IoJ!
My favorite part about this post, is that in vent 4-5 hours ago, I was in vent saying how some DR player was gunna kitten about how outnumbered they were when we had equal numbers. Low and behold, you continue to make up an excuse for not winning against IoJ. How about you get that kitten out of your kitten and accept the fact that you aren’t winning against a server that you have an issue with.
Its obvious your server has decent players who are willing to accept that this is a game but every time i look at this forum, all i see is you(along with a select few other DR) whining/making excuses as to why you aren’t winning. Christ sakes, i see all thes screen shots you post about trying to prove us wrong, but they are all coincidental pictures with twisted words. How about you get your kitten straight and stop being a forum warrior. You only make yourself look like that big of a kitten.

But yeah that video is a bit grainy and doesn’t really show much apart of you guys zerging and turtling a camp vs smaller numbers that actually come out of the keep to fight. It is a nice video to see for DR though. As it shows why zerging is BAD! Why trying to zerg a position protected by siege, without your own support is bad. It does show that locking down a 40+ man zerg in a camp that usually gets flipped for every tick anyway is good.

I really don’t think you understand what those phases mean because:
There was AT least 50 DR outside that camp spread out from the entrance to the camp to the entrace of bay akittens biggest until you all got tired of dying(as was obvious when all kills stopped giving any form of wxp) and left except for the few that stayed behind in the last few minutes of the fight

Is that why yall didnt manage to flip anything the whole time you had us “locked down”. Hell FC did better then yall and TOOK STONEMIST while yall had everyone there fighting us. Yall couldnt even get a small group to go flip that tower.
OR
Is that why I counted AT LEAST 10 Arrow carts and 3 Ballistas that got built outside that camp as you tried so hard to push in and take it.
Ill let you take your pick of why you are wrong.
I cant imagine the load for malchors leap/southsun cove being so immense that they crash multiple times a day. At least not on IOJ but maybe I’m wrong since I’m not always on. I just feel like that kind of thing would have been discussed in map chat.
and it acts as a deter ant by not letting bots hit the exact same point from a plotted map that the bots would use every 24 hours. Thought if you were gunna do that, it would have been implemented on all 4 maps. (not trying to be conspiratorial, just really annoying and I would like to know why)
I’ve noticed recently that the IoJ ori nodes in Malchors Leap/Southsun Cove have been changing at least once per 24 hours if not more in which the most was 3 times in a 24 hours period(by accounts of guild members/RL friends compared to my mappings).
This started with the last patch and I was wondering if it was a stealth implementation to deter ori farmers(bots, not people that actually run around and get them) or if it is a legitimate bug with the servers setup since before they would stay at the same location between patches.
any anet employees/devs have any idea about this?

It’s a shame that IoJ brags about getting second because of PvD on the forums, but that isn’t enough for them. Now they’re sending spies to DR because they are so scared of us!
This guy was a definite spy. Guildless, level 1 (a guildie partied with him for a brief moment), didn’t say a word. He just stood at the waypoint moved around sometimes to keep from logging out. Everywhere we went, HARD would follow us. We were going to ninja the garrison on IoJ BL, but we were left in complete confusion when we were met by a massive HARD zerg. We kept going for objectives but every time we were greeted by the same HARD zerg. We knew certainly that this guy was a spy, so we left to go to DRBL..
And he followed us. I didn’t get a screenshot, but several other guildies did. Just as we all left to go to DRBL, we found him chilling in our garrison! What a scrub. Then, we went back to IoJ BL and a few moments later, who pops up? That’s right, good ol’ Mini Me Three. After Dark dropped his tag and stopped communicating through /map chat, we found no more problems with HARD.
It really is disgusting that a guild that brags so much about beating us needs to cheat to win. If there was a shred of respect for HARD within me, it has all been lost. You guys are so bad it’s laughable.
Talk about conspiracy theorist forum warriors. He isn’t with [HARD], So before you come to the forum trying to make us look bad, get legitimate proof that he reps hard.
Just because we have IOJ members all over the map when we’re in ANY BL keeping an eye on all movement, doesn’t mean we have spies on your server.
I tend to farm orichalcum during down times on my server(Isle of Janthir) and for the past week I’ve noticed a funny change. I tend to keep my own digital map of the ori locations just for quick reference if i forget .
For what i know, there are:
2 ori nodes – Frostgorge Sound
3 ori nodes – Southsun cove(1 static)
5 ori nodes – Malchors Leap
5 ori nodes – Cursed Shore
But the bug i’ve noticed is that the orichalcum node for Malchors leap and southsun cove(ONLY these 2 maps) have been changing every 24hours. instead of the on server reset like they are supposed too. I even had a fellow guild mate verify this for me as i took him on a run one day and then the next day they were all different.
Yet the past 24 hours, malchors leap hasnt changed and southsun did. I have yet to make my rounds today but from what i’ve heard Malchors leap has changed itself again along with southsun. Is there a problem with those maps crashing and resetting? Because its annoying having to walk both maps again looking for the 8 nodes when i had found them previously and am having no issue with frostgorge and cursed shore.
Has any other server had this issue?
The funny part is, I sat at the TP in Lions Arch today just to get a feel for the people that sat there all day trying to make money. I met one person, who openly admitted to using the exploits and then using the money to buy more precursors just to resell them and up the bid on them so he would make money.
Then when i asked him what satisfaction he got out of that, the reply from him and numerous other people was “to keep gold from all the other players”. I can understand a little playing of the market, but it sickens me to know that anet is okay with people just inflating the market like this. I would rather deal with goldseller chat spam and bots in one area with an active anti-farm code then know that there is a group of people just trying to make it harder on everyone else.
