Don´t like playing with harcore WvW players?

I don’t like being treated as a second class citizen for not being in a big, hardcore guild, especially given that I’m in WvW almost every day (night).

As for why I’m not in a big, hardcore guild; been there, done that, not going to put up with that again.

I’m not in a big guild either and yes have been there done that with massive alliances too. I have been the only player from my guild in Wv3. Mind that said there is only 3-4 of us max on any given time that go in anyway, but that by the by. And no way would i class my self as hard core either

I was not made to feel useless or thought of as an inferior race… When i called out for help its was there by the bucket load!

Its not about how much you contribute or how many hours you spend in Wx3 , it doesn’t matter if you spend 10 mins or 10 hours, if you kill 1 invader or 100 invaders.
At the end of the day if you are having fun doing it, that to me that all that matters…

“All these people”? If you’re referring to the migration of RUIN to your server, I think you need to do a little more research. RUIN come from, and was all but solely responsible for , a tier 1 server. We took a 2 week hit setback by moving to Desolation in the hopes that we can fill one another’s off hours.

So not trying to be a prick here, but you are mistaken if you think your success in tier 4 has attracted hangers-on.

I think what they mean by ‘all these people’ is the one that only come in for the glory when the points are in our favor but when the chips are down they are no where to be seen …. well that my interpretation of it any way

Turn you love of crafting into profit, this is how i make my money, i prob spend a hour whining down at the end of a day crafting as i enjoy.

The guild im in which is a very small one, is split approx 30/60 EU/US(we moved over together from GW)
Unfortunately we literally only have a handful of players that actively do WvW though i cant speak for the other, i myself am very new to this so still learning the lay of the land. But would like to play an active role in bringing us back up there where we should be.
These past 2 week have been pretty depressing so to speak

Also have you finished your story line? if i remember correctly there is a poi during the final instance.

Me i just play the game to make money then use that and salvage rare items for ecto to make myself exotic inscriptions which i then sell on for profit
ok yes i am seriously poor again having only 2s 56c to my name after i spent 7g (yes 7g is the most i have ever had) to get from 0-400 in leather work but im now the happy owner of 2 pieces of exotic armor and i will continue to play to do the above so i can make my self a full set.

The game isnt about how much money you have or who look the best to me it just completing my personal goals and having fun after all isn’t that how it should be

I have a superior rune of the Ranger and it reads 7/6 (in red) Yet i only have one piece of armor with this rune …………. o.O

Working up to crafting my own exotic gear. Only the helm and coat atm

Raidcall is what out guild uses now instead of Ventrilo and never had any issues with it.
Also jump on a mumble one every now an then which again is good once you figure it out :/

- After you get 100% map completion, you do not have to display the Been There, Done That title in order for the Star to show beside your name in game. Also, the reward is sometimes bugged, and if you do not get a chest for 100% map completion, you can zone into the Chantry of Secrets, and it will force your reward chest to show up for you.

i have guild armor and when there were a few bug where it kept saying i wasn’t in a guild i would still have the armor but not emblem

Last night me and a random were trying for a skill point i managed to get it but ‘he’ got killed before he was able, so i hung around rezed a bit killed a bit (seriously stupid re-spawn time o.O) This must have gone on for a good 5 mins…….. fortunately a couple more people came a long and he got his point.

Yeah finished it before I stopped playing. Was very disappointed with the whole thing to be fair. Felt a bit rushed and clustered with a terrible ending…

Yes admittedly the ending wasn’t what i have hoped for, very much an anti-climax imo But i did however find my path enjoyable and to be honest would love to be able to re-run parts of it.

Titles are well not really that great most people wont persue them unless the means of gettting them are enjoyable, because if not its just grinding your but off to get a word by your name

Well yes, actually that’s very true :/ I working on my explorer but for me its not the title, im actually really loving the scenery, finding the little nook with the qwerky and sometime insane NPCs in… Today i climbed right to the top of the south side of Mon Maelstrom. Call me sad but it felt really good to be stood up there….. Sorry for totally going OT there lol

I would love to be able to permanently stow my pet but only for when im doing a JP…nowt worse than the butt of of a polar bear in you face when you in a tight spot :/

Other than that if im wanting to run through an area without distraction( pet drawing aggro) then i do exactly the same as Stice and put it in passive mode

I have 100% on Kryta, Orr and Ascalon but 163 of 165 on Maguuma and 170 of 172 in Shiverpeaks.
It driving me mad! I have been around the edge of each of the zones located in those regions but cant seem to find it for love nor money!
Anyone know of a way to tell which parts i haven’t uncovered?

Would the locations of the JP count towards this?

My lvl 80. Currently in Guild Armor but hoping one time soon to get Shaman

Hi people,
Just looking for tips and pointers really. I have a lvl 80 ranger, completed my story line, spent way too much time in WvW but other than beating the big Z (omg it was a big ZZZZZZZzzzzz lol) I havent touched any other dugeons really.
Im wanting to do CoF to get my armour but the issue I am having is that I’m finding people are reluctant to take ‘noobs’ such as myself into these places and having a little patient with us as we learn the ropes.
So as above any tip would be really useful for myself.
