Same issue here, only I didn’t take damage from the bridges neither…
I don’t think one-time events should give other rewards than the event itself…
At Halloween Anet did really a great job → 1-time event wich was worth watching without greater reward + a dungeon who stayed up for some time giving a minor reward the first time you completed it.
Know it gives a event chain wich is very rewarding on itself ( without end rewards, cool mechanics + bragging rights). BUT at the end it gives lots of goodies (20-slot bag(value 10 gold), very nice accesory, 2 rares and 2 exotics) It’s a little overkill compared to the only other 1-time event and it’s real sad for all the people who didn’t get it.
So please, next time just keep the event and skip the rewards ( you’ll have less qq) and as i already said before, the event is more than rewarding enough on itself.
My 2 cents
So today I decided to do some research about the mad king. More specifically about
the possible reason of his disappearance. But then I found something else:
The present day in guild wars 2 should be 1325 AE, know the last appearance of the mad king was “more than 250” years ago. This means he last appeared before 1075 AE, if we presume no years have passed since launch.
BUT salma regained the thrown in 1079 AE breaking the first seal of the mad king’s curse.
We have seen him after that, his servants told us the first seal was broken during his celebration.
Does this mean we already did a time jump of at least 4 years?
EDIT:the latest possible appearance is 246 years from the current date

I’m in Far Shiverpeaks and it’s the third time I’m in the blue world…
I don’t hate the color blue, but it makes it rather very difficult to attain my 100%
world completion…
So is this just bad luck or will the color of the world change one day, even if the
ranking probably won’t within the near future
