I’ve recently returned to GW2 and purchased HoT. So far I’m loving it, with the whole Elite Spec as Druid. The only problem I have is deciding whether to run a Condition Build (Torch + Axe) or Power (Longbow). I’m interested in running Fractals and Raids. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

So pretty much I’ll need to buy the HoT expansion.
honestly giving how things are going right now in the game and so forth . a look around the forums and reddit well tell you a lot .
and since you not gotten hot yet at all. if it was me making this choice . i would go to walmarts and get a copy of hot . as now buying a copy of hot . gives you a second acount IF you do NOT hook it up to your first acount . and at my local walmarts if i wanted to i can get a copy of hot for $15.00 . but like i said the way its going i would not even do that and hold on to my $15.00 but that’s just me .
the state of the game itself in short wvw is pretty much dead and the same for pvp too as well . pve its ok for the most part still but for how long who knows till the new pack comes out with mounts and so forth .
My friends and I went on last night to just PvP for the fun of it; get back into the groove of things. It was funny when we 2v2, until we went into sPvP. That’s when my eyes opened up. For some reason, there were some classes that just felt difficult to burst down (not Guardians); they were Elementalists and Rangers to name a few. Compared to when my friends were fighting each other in 2v2, it felt like we didn’t stand a chance against these guys. Has something changed? Because I believe one of my veteran friends informed me that HoT has an Elite Spec now and it’s different. Would that explain why some of them were difficult to kill?
I’m just coming back after 2 years and wanted to know (as the title says) the state of the game. Yes, HoT launched, but I didn’t want to get into GW2 at the time. I had gotten my character to level 80 prior HoT launch and I just left it there. For me, I didn’t know what else to do since I wasn’t apart of any guilds or really had people to play with. It was just solo play from 1-80 for me, which was boring. Hence, I want to know everything summarized so I’ll know if I should get back into it.
Hey, I suppose I’ll get straight to the point.
It’s been 2 years since I’ve played Guild Wars 2 and I managed to set aside some time to get back on.
I’m in love with stories and narration, especially when it comes to games. Is there anything I’m suppose to watch/read before getting back on?
Note: I missed Living World Season 1 & 2 and apparently I can’t purchase them. I cry.
As the title implies, I’m wondering what’s new in Guild Wars 2. I’ve been away from about a year now and I’ve managed to get some free time in my life now, and decided to use it on this game. All I know so far is about ‘Heart of Thorns’ and a Spring Quarterly Update. Aside from that, I’m in the shadows. Would it be possible if someone could just briefly summarized what I’ve missed and what’s the game’s status now, I’d greatly appreciate it.
Well to start things off; my laptop is a:
HP Envy Dv6 Notebook PC
AMD A10-4600M APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics 2.30GHz (Quad-Core) (4 CPUs)
AMD Radeon HD 7660G
8GB Ram
When I first bought this laptop for about $500, I wasn’t really a computer tech savvy. When I saw Quad-Core I just did the maths 2.3×4=9.2 GHz. So I thought hey, it’s in my budget and it should be able to help me since I’m not a Hardcore PC Gamer. I just play MMOs.
Anyway, I decided to download Devil May Cry 5 and was able to run it on High. That was smooth sailing, no lagg at all. The fans wasn’t blowing that much hot air at the time. After a year or 2 when I decided to go back on Guild Wars 2 (I played Guild Wars 2 back when it first got released and was running it minimum 30 FPS) all of a sudden there’s lagg, even in Low-Medium settings. Fans are constantly blowing hot air and I don’t know what happened. There are times when it runs smooth and then it just jumps all the way back down to 12 – 25 FPS. I’ve decided to order a Cooling Pad but I don’t know if that will help. I took the laptop to a computer store and they said no dust was in it but still try and clean it. That didn’t help at all. Honestly, I don’t know what to do anymore. If anyone could give me an idea of what’s going on I would greatly appreciate it.
P.S I’m thinking of building my own PC in the near future, so if that’s what you’re going to say, save it.
I’m just getting back into Guild Wars 2 after playing TERA for a bit. I just have one question though. As my title says End Game Content…what is the content GW2 have for max levels now? And is it really worth rushing to get to max level for it?
I’ve just purchased the game today. My friend told me that Guild Wars 2 still has good population and still is a good MMORPG. I hope he’s right, but I just wanted to post to ask about the game. Is there anything a newbie should know about this before going on? I plan on becoming a Necromancer so if anyone can just give me some tips not only on the class itself but the game as well I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance
