Hi there,

I’ve just returned Guild Wars after quite some hiatus. I came back and logged into all of my old characters (all level 20) and planned on making new toons and noticed I was on a European server but I live in Canada, so I deleted my toons and switched to a American server. I had never heard of the birthday gift but all of my toons on that server were at least a year old. So now deleting them (I’m not sure if it’s one per account or per character) did I just screw myself out of those birthday gifts?

Edit Also, if I did lose them is there any possibility of being refunded because I was an unaware returning player?

So I started a charr warrior.. Im level 5 and the quest says “recommended level 6” and it seems like I’ve done everything in the starting area so I tried going a bit further but its all level 8 monsters such as ghosts and stuff so I keep dying.. Am I missing something it seems like I’m screwed.

I feel like a noob but I’m confused with the game.. I’m currently playing a human elementalist and I was doing the tasks/quests and it seems like im always underleveled. At one part its like “recommended level 6” so I grinded to get a level which took long because I did most of the random tasks. Then the next quest (main quest) says recommended level 8.. Am i missing something? That would take very long doing random tasks if I could even find enough. What should I be doing?
