Can confirm the trait “Unholy Sanctuary” in Death Magic line is bugged out. It does NOT activate death shroud at all. Ive even tried re-equipping the trait. ._.
So many bugs….should have just waited until the majority was fixed…..
Alright. So I’m not sure if this has really been brought up to your attention as I am not a regular on these forums but there seems to be a massive account hacking issue last night. 3 people I know got hacked last night. Is there something being done to help prevent this? One person I knew had email verification on there but that did not stop the hacker. Another person that had their account hacked, stole what they could from my guild’s bank and sold it all. This is becoming a huge concern.
Another reason I say this is a concern, is the fact that more and more gold sellers seem to be hacked accounts. Their names and account names are regular names not just facerolled names like “adksfldf”. There was a gold seller not that long ago that had 2k AP. Most gold sellers have less that 100AP.
My advice to other players, make a very STRONG password, one that is random and has letters and numbers and special symbols if allowed and capital/lowercase letters. Also something that I find comfort in, is the authenticator application available to smartphones. I hope this will help deter any stolen passwords and such.
EDIT: I just noticed that I too have an unknown IP address under Current Logins. Could an ANET dev help me with this question: Does that mean they have tried to access my game account and succeeded or have they succeeded in logging into my forums account or both?
same, and its just getting worse, more and more people are now getting the bug from when the patch first came out. Also need to note that a bug with the guild bank seems to be associated with this as well. its like this with all guilds. Daily also reset when it shouldnt have for me, i had closed my client to see if it would fix the chat bug but came back to a resetted daily an hour after reset.
yeah crashed again like 15-20 minutes ago on BP. i happened to somehow manage to stay on while all of my guild(37people online) minus 7 people and party dc’d
Actually it is quite clear that it only refers to people that have bought gems with real money (or gem-card).
Read again. No it is not clear. "Because you purchased gems through our Gem Store “OR” via gem card." you must be pretty lead headed if you can’t decipher things instead of just assuming.
it is but Hicci is right..i just reviewed them myself. However, the feelings still stand. We dont want the nerf but now theres absolutely nothing we can do about it because of how this is set up. Can maybe try complaining more or putting up suggestions. idk.. We dont want this nerf yet it seems like, thus far, that they are not listening to us. Are they not always asking for our input?
ok so this seems to be quite the issue now all of a sudden…and i see its not just Borlis pass but also blackgate…is every server experiencing this now or something?
something really needs to be done about this…I hope Anet is looking into it…I’m not a person that can sit around and wait 24/7 to get out of overflow and then miss the event i originally logged on to participate in.
just figured this out lol…if you have a buddy that isnt in overflow and you are in party with them, right click their name and select “Join in _”…dunno why I think about that earlier
This issue is because of 2 or more other servers Behemoth being bugged(if my information is correct that is)…..so they came to Borlis Pass…..everything was fine until this happened. Until theres an update to unbug that, goodbye dragon hunting.
and no, waiting or arriving early doesnt work. I went on Queensdale an hour before the SB’s spawn window to do some clearing on a new toon and I STILL got put into overflow.
@Sligh: that may be true but I’m not going to sit in an overflow for 2 and a half hours or more and do absolutely nothing since there is no way of telling when the event will happen. I have better things to do. And just to clearify, I didn’t wait those whole 4-5 hours in Queensdale…I would just log off when I saw I was in overflow and relog after a bit to see if I was still in the overflow or not.
Well before I completely rant about this i have to say that I thought it was going to be an awesome feature, until everyone came to Borlis Pass to fight Shadow Behemoth. I couldn’t even get the Main Event on my own home server because of all the people guesting on Borlis. The reason I put this under “game bugs” is because people were saying their own Behemoth event is bugged so they came to our server to complete it. I don’t know what servers they are from but from the sounds of it, they’re from 2 different servers and I don’t know if it was reported to the staff yet.
This is a little off the whole idea of this section of the thread but it really isnt fair to those of us on our home server to miss a main event because of “guests” simply because their own event is broken. I hope you guys can find a solution to this guesting issue making it impossible for people of their own home server to do events on their server because I have a feeling that other events can and will bug out causing this to happen on other events since the number of people doing the main events have increased since the last patch. It would be greatly appreciated since I have been unable to get onto the Borlis Pass Queensdale for about 4-5 hours now. Yes, I’m a little crabby because I woke up for no reason since I was and still am stuck in the overflow for Queensdale on Borlis.
Add-on: And as I feared, other maps where main events take place are being over run with people from other servers. Don’t exactly know why but this really is annoying. A person from Borlis was complaining that they couldn’t do events due to being put on the overflow. We never had this issue before until just before reset.
also, a weird thing i am experiencing when i load back in, is that the loading screens switch back and forth from the “Heart of the Mists” screen and the “Lion’s Arch” screen. ive never seen that before but im guessing that could be because of the rollback im having
I traveled to lions arch from the heart of the mists and my client “loses the connection”. when i get back on, all i see is complaint about dc and small rollbacks which i am experiancing myself. it seems to only be in LA as i was fine on other maps. the dc occurs while i am moving it seems as i dc right away when running but so far since i logged on and havent moved, i stay connected for a longer period of time but still eventually dc. time span is anywhere from 20 seconds to a minute of connection until disconnection occurs.
