Reasons why I haven’t bought the new expansion:

- I have only recently come back to GW2 after 3 years. I’m pretty much clueless about what has happened story wise. I’m pretty surprised that the majority of content is untouched from when I left and it seems whatever is new is in the xpac.

- I originally bought GW2 for around(probably a bit more) $20AUD (Physical Copy) when it was first released.
The price for HOT alone is around $37.82AUD and the upcoming expansion is bundled with HOT for $63.04AUD. For me it’s just a turn off for these expansions to be over the base game cost. But now the base game value is suddenly 0. I feel like Anet should at least give some sort of trial period to their expansion to see if it’s actually worth getting.

- From brief research I found out that there was some sort of outrage with HOT release for existing players because around the time GW2 was going F2P. If I’m not mistaken there was a possibility for existing players to “refund” their game and basically get a free upgrade to HOT. And this is only for digital purchases. I assume this was a limited time thing and again – I feel somewhat cheated. I bought the game like others a physical copy which I’m pretty sure I still have yet I’m not entitled to the same. It’s just somewhat unfair.

What I find bad about the expansions:

- Class skills/specializations : I dislike that it’s ONLY available for HOT users. It’d be nice if it was the new class was for the HOT expansion and the specialization update was available for all; else allow it to be unlocked for those who had existing accounts prior the game turning F2P.

- Gliders : I thought this was just odd seeing in GW2 very odd. I still don’t know what to think of it. I’ve only seen it’s use in a jumping puzzle in Lions arch that required the use of the glider. Why that JP is in a “F2P” map I don’t know. But thank gosh there are HOT Mesmer that are willing to cheat us through <3.

- Story restrictions : Literally am restricted to getting story content. What if I just paid for the episodes can I just get into the relevant map instances for the story? No. I HAVE to have HOT. To me it’s just a turn off to returning to the game and being excluded to such an important aspect to the game.

Nevermind got the answer on facebook. After the feature pack update the issue should be resolved. So everyone should be able to get free transmutation charges. Hooray!

Won’t risk it to be honest. I’ve seen posts where after trying to fix it manually their entire client stops working all together. I’m just going to hope that Anet patches it up during the update :L

I’m just wondering… will those who are having issues with the Black Lion Trading post be able to claim the transmutation charges that are available in the TP regardless on not being able to load the TP?

Just wondering because my trading post hasn’t been loading for over a week, and I am a dedicated Guild War 2 player. I don’t want to miss out on the goodies >-<

5. They make you feel as though you’re running faster than you actually are
6. They can have long floppy ears, large beady eyes and an adorable nose
7. They wear swimsuits under their armour
8. Their cuteness is a great defence for them especially in WVW
9. Apparently for some people, its hard to spot asura because they’re small and their name is somewhat descaled ..? (Totally doubt this one but sounds cool)
10. The dance moves that are bought on Black Lion Gemstore are adorable on asura, especially the “Inventory shuffle”.
11. Adorable and cute hairstyles + new punk..ish ones.
12. Apparently the guardian asura does a pole dance o_O
13. They are really good at hiding in WVW towers
14. Ever try gathering a bunch of asura’s and standing in a line or dance? if you haven’t do it. Cuteness explosion.
15. Stand next to a quaggan with your asura – omg! Adorable much
16. As an asura.. you can say carry me human! Like literally type it out and see some fun.

After the new Taimi hairstyle was introduced.. the halo doesn’t seem as visible as it should be. I’ll post up a picture later today.

I somewhat wish that the halo would be a little bigger on asura’s and have some sort of effect that will make it a little eye-catching

My asura is a fur ball of cuteness. You’ll all be like awwwhhh so cuteeeee when you see my baby asura.

I totally support the idea because tiny asura’s in tiny golems are just mind-blowing lol -_-

I’ve experienced this problem several times after watching/skipping a cinematic which then causes my controls to be reversed. So my W key for going forward would end up making me go backwards, S goes forward etc. This only fixes itself if I’m downed, or leave the instance I’m in and re-enter.

Has anyone else encountered this problem recently?

I’m just going to go straight to the point; It’d be really helpful when looking for an item (specifically armour and weapons) that I’d be able to select from Light armour, Heavy armour etc.

I personally believe that the added enhancement of being able to select the armour types for whatever profession your characters maybe would be beneficial for newbies as well as other players as it saves a lot of time when you’re scrolling through looking for specific armour types and weapons and assists with avoiding any confusion from which armour’s/weapons you can actually wear/wield.

If anyone agrees with this suggestion please reply back on this topic with either suggesting why it’d be beneficial to you as a player.. or why it would be pointless if you disagree with this suggestion.

I’ve been trying to get Miyani to let me talk to Zommoros, but I don’t get the option : “I need to ask about the Karka creatures that attacked the city.”

I’m really confused at the moment and don’t know what to do. I’ve been using http://dulfy.net/2012/11/16/gw2-lost-shores-event-guide/ as a reference to help me with the event.. but I’m really going no where now after the Lost NPC’s were fixed (Noll etc).

Can anyone help me with this? Or has this part of the event ended or something?

During the Halloween events I greatly enjoyed the minigames/PVP that were available, especially Lunatics Inquisition. What I’m trying to suggest is to incorporate minigames such as the ones available during Halloween. To me personally they were fun, and had a range of objectives (such as surviving, crazy killing, helping collect bones, spider webs) and the small rewards at the end for the winning team was a really rewarding and nice way of ending the game being able to see your rank and achievements . I noticed that in this particular mini-game ( Lunatics Inquisition) there had been alot of communication made between players in teams, and it’s quiet rare for me to actually see people communicating in such a way ingame.

I’m more than sure some people may not like the idea of mini-games, but still.. I liked the introduction of them and would love to see them more.

I think this event may be buggy for every server.

The server I’m at [Ring of Fire] is the same too :l All I wanted was to access the Karma Item vendor x-x.

Please fix this asap ArenaNet !~
