Well I know they are going to appreciate in value, but all I really care about right now is getting an exotic Charged Potion from them. I have my own ways to make regular money so that’s not really a concern for the future. I was just wondering if there’s any recourse for me since I’ve gotten 2 extra exotic potions that I don’t need. I would really love to be able to trade them in or even mystic forge combine them into something else that’s useful.

Sigh. Today and last night I crafted and opened about 120 mystic chests in total, the entire time just hoping to get an exotic (infinite) Charged Potion.

Instead, I got two cold potions and two hard potions, lol. (You can see them here http://i.imgur.com/RevmC.jpg).

I was just wondering if there’s any way I could possibly trade them out for the other exotic potions that I’m missing, since my extra 2 potions are essentially worthless and just taking up inventory space (and unable to be resold). I really just wanted a Charged Potion because I love floating around as a glowing air elemental blob!

Why The Economy is Borked

Placing custom bids has nothing to do with why the economy is bad or good (which is just a matter of opinion anyways).

The only thing it does is allow the bidder to take a risk in order to make a profit. And in the process, he provides liquidity to the market.

A trade is always a win-win situation for both parties, because the trade that occurs was MUTUALLY DESIRED. The seller and buyer would not sell or buy at the trader’s price unless it was the best possible price available.

Gavbeorn's Waypoint event failed... even though we didn't really fail.

I was just defending Gavbeorn’s Waypoint in Cursed Shore. Me and some players killed every wave of enemies that were attacking the waypoint except literally the last enemy that was left when the timer hit 0:00 on the defense.

Well guess what happened? Suddenly ~20 friendly NPC’s that were occupying the waypoint area just fall over dead when the event ends, and suddenly 30+ enemy NPC’s spawn out of nowhere and overtake the area, killing all of the players that had been defending.

My complaint is that the event failure condition just relying solely on a timer is ridiculous. We successfully defended against several waves of enemies and also resurrected several friendly NPC’s. In no way were the enemy NPC’s gaining the upper hand during the event and they sure as hell weren’t going to overrun the camp while we were there. But suddenly a timer reaches 0:00 and all our allied NPC’s insta-die and we are swamped with a bunch of risen just spawning out of the ground right beneath us?

I just felt that this was very unexpected and a very poorly designed ending to the event. Shouldn’t failure of “defend the camp” event be triggered by the enemies actually managing to break in and kill all the friendly NPC’s?

Bag Slot Purchases with Gems

IMO the pricing is pretty decent, especially considering that gem prices have been falling almost every day since launch. Just save up a few gold and buy your bag slots. Is it really that hard to not be given everything you want for free on day 1?

How are you supposed to make all that money??

If a “good” lv80 weapon for you costs 20g, then you are looking at weapons that are a little bit TOO good.

I use staves and they only cost between 3-5g on the trading post for a lv80 exotic, best-of-the-best staff.
