Warrior will you give the most flexibility in all fields.
Warrior’s have a decent position in all fields, and if you take a traitline with Phalanx Strength you can support any party composition be they raids, fractals or dungeons.

Next up, I would say Guardian and Necromancer are doing okay as well, Necromancers will be your best choice if you want easy access to fractals. While Guardians will be slightly better than necromancers if pvp is your forté.
Necromancers aren’t very welcome in raids who want to do things quickly, but they’re not completely absolete either. You can run necro if you find social or welcoming raiding groups. But I suggest warrior as they are pretty much required for raids.

The one thing i am afraid with the warrior is that, as many people say, the class is boring and i am afraid that if that’s the case i’ll have to drop him later…

Hallo everyone, i will soon have a warrior a guardian and a necromancer all 80 in full berserker gear. I want to pick one of them as a main to do everything in the game,pvp,mostly pve(dungeons,fractals and raids), map completion, ascended and legendary hunting-crafting,achievements . Which of those three do you think is the best option to do so and why?

Hallo everyone,new player here. I am trying to decide which character to main. I am considering a thief or a revenant. I want a character with who i will invest much time and do everything in the game, a little pvp,mostly pve, wvw,map completion, achivement hunting(i am a completioninst) . So i need your help. With which of the two i can do the most?

Also about the revenant. Pros: i like the passive buffs, the concept of the character and the fact that he isn’t simple but not too complex,so won’t be bored too fast. I believe he has more diversity than the thief,i could be wrong. Cons: i read online that he is in a bad state right now and one of the characters that teams don’t want in their composition, is this true and at what degree? Will i be “stuck” with him at the end game?

About the thief. Pros: i like his awesome mobility and damage. Always according to online sourses he has more chance finding teams.
Cons:Little utility. I think he is a little too simple(boring) pve wise? Very squishy. Not much variety (?)

Long story short: i want a fun character, with who i’ll will be able to do everything and that i won’t find my character “lacking” or highly inferior at any aspect of the game.
