I read that but the e-mails I showed don’t say that my account will be terminated nor states that my account has been compromised. They both say my account is under suspicion but nothing about it actually being compromised. That is why I asked. Why can’t someone from ArenaNet confirm these are or aren’t real e-mails?
A log-in attempt from the following location is currently awaiting your authorization.
Address: (IP REMOVED)
City: Beijing
Region: 22
Country: CN
This location is approximated based on information provided by your Internet Service Provider. If in doubt, deny the request and try again.
If you are certain this log-in attempt was not made by you, then someone else knows your log-in credentials and you should change your password immediately via Account Management.
For security purposes, we alert you each time your account is accessed from an unrecognized location. To authenticate this log-in attempt, please click the link below:

Greetings!
Due to an unusual change in your access pattern, the Guild Wars 2 account under this email address has been locked. This can be caused by logging in from a new location, but it may also signal an attempt to compromise your account. If you feel that your account’s security is at risk, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Verify Your Account Ownership
Click on the link below to verify your e-mail address of the Guild Wars 2 account:

(This link confused me because it doesn’t actually lead to this address but rather account.guildwars2.com.login-en.pw I wasn’t suspicious of this e-mail at first as this was the first e-mail asking me anything like this so I did actually go to this link and log in from there. Then it asked me for my game serial number which I didn’t have so I just shrugged and stopped the process there. Changed my PW shortly after just in case.)
Step 2: Secure Your Computer
Ensure that your computer is free from any malicious programs, as a password change alone may not deter future attacks. Visit our Account Security website to learn how to protect your computer from unauthorized access.
Step 3: Secure Your Email Account
Choose a new password for your email account and review your email for any filters or rules you did not create. For more information on securing your email account, visit our Account and Computer Security page.
Step 4: Choose a New Password
Change your password to resume using this Guild Wars 2 account, as your former password no longer grants access to any login-protected Guild Wars 2 account service or game. Visit our Password Reset page to begin the password change process.
Once you’ve regained access to your account, you can add additional security with Mobile Authenticator, a free service that allows you to unlock your Guild Wars 2 account on your own with a few simple steps. For more
information, see the Account Protect FAQ

Greetings!
It will be ongoing for further investigation by ArenaNet’s employees.
(If this is an actual official e-mail then I am sorry but this is horribly written. WHAT will be ongoing for further investigation? There’s nothing even in the title to indicate anything worth investigating; it’s only mentioned AFTER this line. The horrible structure of this e-mail made me suspicious.)
We are concerned about whether your account has been stolen. In order to guarantee the legitimacy of your account, click the link below.

(Once again, this doesn’t lead to the same address -I hovered this time- but instead to account.guildwars2.com.en.saxl.pw Upon googling this address, 3/4 top search results are about phishing so that doubles the suspicions.)
Once your account authentication has been completed, we will check your account and let you know what we can do for you.

I’ve been getting a lot of e-mails from Arena Net telling me my account is under suspicion. I have not been playing Guild Wars 2 lately. In fact I haven’t played in many many months. I had someone trying to access my account from Beijing and ever since then I’ve been getting these e-mails which makes me think that they might be real but I’m still suspicious. I get tons of “your account has been hacked!” e-mails so one for GW2 isn’t that unrealistic.
I added notes in bold in the e-mails. Please have the good sense to NOT go to the links I provide. Unfortunately, I do need to provide the links to see if they’re legit or not. If you guys determine that these are phishing e-mails, I will certainly remove them.
I will be posting the e-mails in reply to this message since they’re making me go over the character limit.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I don’t mind the NPCs saying stuff once in a while but what needs to go is them blurting out something every time someone ELSE talks to them. I don’t need to hear it every time the 20 people around me talk to an npc.
I agree… Cooking sucks so much when you have so much ingredient foods that you can’t use yet or have yet to discover a recipe for or haven’t acquired the necessary ingredients for… Makes discovering a pain since you need to make these ingredients just to see if they have any new discoveries available.
Interesting and good idea… but I can see this becoming very very annoying and perhaps even confusing in WvW.
“RETREAT” “NEGATIVE” “CHARGE” “ADVANCE” “WAIT” “RETREAT” “HEAL” “SPREAD OUT” … in the space of one second.
Thanks for putting this together Munchkin. My first and only character is an Elementalist so I had no idea just how much this class was lagging behind the others. I had a feeling I was underpowered but didn’t really know for sure.
