The data has changed quite a bit since those disks were released.

I know it’s changed a lot, but I figured it would install what was on both disc1 and disc2, THEN it would patch. It didn’t install disc1, it never asked to insert dis2. All it’s done is started the DL for the WHOLE game. It’s very, very disappointing to have to DL the WHOLE DANG GAME.

Just what are the install disc 1 and install disc2 for? I wanted to install most of the game without downloading the whole thing. All disc1 did was start me downloading the whole game from scratch…….

More to add……usually when I get a hard copy the computer installs from the CDs, then you have to DL the updates. I’m starting from scratch and I’m having to DL the whole game. It did not install disc1, then ask for disc2…..any clue why?

I bought the hard copy of GW2 from Best Buy. I stuck disc 1 into the computer and all that’s going on is to log in and download the whole game? How can I get the game to install from the CDs………..DVDs?
