just wondering if there is any trouble <ban> if a person would to sell a guild to another player in-game, for in-game coin no RL transaction. used to able too in gw1.

ok i want to clear this up if we can. GW2 is promoting their new keyboard, ok sure, but my question is if you sell me a keyboard for YOUR game with macros built in and use that idea as a promotion then does that mean that YOU are promoting the use of macros within YOUR game?

I would suggest you read up what a scam actually is.
A scam would be selling something and then delivering something else.
In this case it is very clear that it is the same as Basic Salvage kit, thus not a scam.

yea i have no intent to use it, will keep buying 5 fine kits @ a time

all i know is i wish they would make the description in the TP match the items true use. if i knew it was gonna have the stats of a basic i would never of even bought one. wow i feel like i jus got a scam ran on me. at a saving of .52 copper i should see my return on investment in after i salvage 157,500 items. wow thanks anet. so 2 yrs of salvaging 200 items a day 365 day a yr to make it worth it. can We have a Gem return policy…

If they made an easy/normal mode to choose from on these dungeons, then there should be no rewards from the easy mode other than to see the story. Any form of scaled rewards would only lead players to grind away at easy modes because they would run it 5 times in the same timeframe as a single regular mode.

No slight intended, but that sounds just a tad bit elitist. How about we also say, “no drops from any mobs prior to Orr” (or whatever zone/region you feel is the most difficult)? Why should anyone doing the “easy” zones get anything for their relatively smaller effort?

All activities have—or are supposed to have—appropriately scaled rewards. If devs made it so the sum value of rewards in an easy mode dungeon version were so attractive that it was a siren song for hordes of slavering farmers, then it’s their mistake (cough CoF1 cough). On the assumption they’re smart enough not to repeat certain dubious decisions and/or are quick enough to correct them, there’s no reason to make easier mode versions rewardless, just appropriate like all other aspects of the reward system are expected to be.

Providing easy mode would allow for players to be able to see the story and at the same time give them practice for the same encounters in normal mode. It should be like SAB’s infantile mode. It lets you run through everything in the normal mode, but you can’t get credit for the achievements.

though all of you have valid points the simplest answer i see is the one they gave to GW1, Normal Mode / Hard Mode. provided content to both the hardcore and the casual.

i had that happen to me a few times (4-5) and yea it cheapens it especially when it is 50s a bet and your bird places.

Well it been almost a hour and still no fireworks on Crystal Deserts server. anyone else have this happen of are we alone in this poor timed event?

I can see what some people are talking about but on Crystal Desert is in ok matches yea they are ranked a lil higher but we hold our own and actually won last week. I like It, was up against same servers for 2 months with no hope of battling any other @ the time cuz of the large gap in tiers

A-net has confirmed the issue is server side, so getting new PCs won’t help you much. I’m not sure about your WvW population, but here on reset evenings EVERYONE has skill lag, regardless of how slow or fast their PCs are.

I suggest trying to be a bit more knowledgeable about the subject rather than immediately posting nonsense in the topic.

Since i see you posted before me that this is directed at you right? Read the OP, and think….maybe A-Net should upgrade their Rig . As if “You” could downgrade the game. I suggest you get some knowledge in reading comprehension.

I understand that golems have to be refreshed like most all seige, but why can’t you remove someone from it like you can a AC, or catapult, when it cost alot more. nothing like building a few omega golems to see ppl walk off with them to die and cant stop them. but if i wanna take over my cheap AC, not hassle just take over it. think it.

all drink points can be broke down to either 7 karma per point or 8 copper per point.
you can buy 16 point drinks for 1s28c or do all 2 point drinks with karma which cost 14k per drink. so the total is 700k karma, or 80 gold. @ Thereon.3495, they should never have put those types in game but i understand what you mean. i remeber getttin gdrunkard in GW1 then they made it spammable 1 month later

well i see alot of ppl complaining about the number of uses to get it. my complaint is that i cant show the title. 14hrs of spamming

here is the achivement with no cheating involved jus alot of KArma and tower defending. ended up taking about 14 hrs of spaming them………… only thing i am really unhappy with is no title to show.

nvm loaded after 5 minutes.

hi, this is the 3rd time i have ran into this problem. i am on crystal desert server<not sure if server locations are the same> the ori node at the bottom of Karka cave in southsun cove is placed under a mound of rocks. you only get a glimpse of the target if you are lucky, spent a total of a half hour trying to figure out a place it will let u mine from, no luck.attached screen shot, and no it is not accessible from the other side of wall. please either fix the node to stay on top of mound or eliminate that placement sad to lose a chance for it, and time trying to get it. thnx

i had this problem too, turns out i had bad sectors on my HDD and it was the reason for crashes, swapped HDD no more crashing

I live in NZ and I always add one day to anything they put on their site in my head automatically.
They NEVER said it would launch on the 14th in my timezone and realistically, if you don’t live in the US you should stop expecting it to be in your own timezone.
