As a last thing to point out, I am pretty sure the people who screw around with animations are not the same people who work on, say, balance issues. At least, I sure as hell hope not.

But again, I don’t really care too much that it was done, or that people think it shouldn’t have been done because they are positive changing the running animation set back buffing ranger pets six months or whatever. The issue I have are the people acting like the new animation is the manliest running animation in the history of MMOs.

I thought she looked goofy before. Now she looks less goofy. So I guess I cancel you out.

It’s less the OMG WORST WASTE OF RESOURCES EVER handwringing I’m taking issue with anyway. It’s the OMG MANLIEST RUN EVER handwringing my post was addressing.

She … looks like she’s running. It doesn’t look manly. You guys have some really weird standards for “femininity.”

Mesmer feels the most useless the most often out of the classes I’ve WvW’d with (ele/mesmer/necro/engineer, mostly). Portal/TW are powerful, but pretty dull in practice, and when we’re NOT in the process of golemrushing a keep, it’s a lot of flailing and feeling like I’m not doing much.

Second place is probably my engineer, because I don’t really like grenades, so I play a ~snowflake~ build, and thus suck in general. :P

I crash too, plus no chest. Alas!

I would think SoR and BG would want to save schedule whining for towards the end, as a sort of back up excuse, not burn it right out of the gate! No sense of timing.

I’d rather not have that many easy weeks, because it’s boring. But given I’ve thought this whole WvW league thing was stupid to start with, especially since the non-T1 servers have virtually nothing to look forward to, I can’t get too worked up about it either. At least TC/SoS/Mag get a break from us for two of the weeks, I guess.

I don’t think you understand. Many of us on TC, SoS and Mag, look forward to the fights and the endless blob busting action. Who cares what server wins. I’m very much looking forward to always be paired with a t1 server.

That’s good to hear! I really mean it, my biggest concern with the leagues was how lame they’d be for the non-T1 servers in gold. Not caring about what server wins is freeing, but being the underdog 100% of the time gets really tiring too. But if zerg busting is enough (and you can also decide which T1 server you hate less and help them indirectly against the other when those sorts of match ups happen, I guess!), then I actually feel a little better about the whole thing!

Players that are moving or have moved to serious T1 servers be warned that if you don’t play the cookie cutter build that the top guilds have come up with (which are all the same IMHO), you are going to have a horrible experience being forced to play the viable professions and builds even if you are not in these guilds but run with them.

I like the gruffness of her voice, personally. As a tall, husky-voiced lady, it’s sort of refreshing to have a character that’s actually vaguely like me instead of Generic Fantasy Woman #34826375636.

That said, she is a TERRIBLE actress and uh. That part kinda sucks. But most of the voice acting in this game is kinda butt-tastic, so I don’t hold it against her too much. :P
