Guild Wars 2

I’d love to see Cantha restored with maybe even a Shiro comeback, since the end of Nightfall pretty much left the door wide open for his character. That said, ANet’s done a really nice job of leaving parts of the original storylines open for future development (e.g., Forgotten, Mursaat, etc.), so there might even be enough room to work on Tyria alone without needing to (re)introduce a whole continent. It’ll be interesting to see what they decide to do for the coming years.

1. Tengu: My absolute favorite GW race. If Cantha could slip out of its autocracy in an expansion, we could get a story here.
2. Forgotten: I at least hope we can see what happened to them between games; it’d be really cool to do that through a separate campaign. Edit: I could see a Naga/Margonite thing here, but I don’t see how either would much relate to Tyria.
3. Seer: Rematch between the Blade and the Mantle, anyone? That’s probably taking it a bit too far, but I like to be optimistic.
