The thing is that I don’t have uncapped broadband at the moment. Me and my fiancée want to jam some GW2 again. Thought I’d just quickly update to last patch and copy the client over to her. But if we both have to download the client, well, no GW2 then lol : /

I copied my friends GW2 client (roughly 19 gb) into a folder. The .dat, .exe, and .tmp file are all in the same folder. When I run the .exe it seems as though the launcher downloads the entire game again (around 28k files.). Is this just a really big update? It has been a while since I last played. I stopped the launcher at roughly 2.5gb downloaded when I saw only 4% has been downloaded.

I tried running the repair but it yielded no result.

I’d prefer not to download the whole thing again Please help!

I enjoy the new layout too. I think it works well. Haven’t found it hard to work with.

On my Warrior I use Greatsword/Hammer and keep 1 of every other weapon a Warrior can equip in my Inventory. At the very top

Longbow/Rifle/Sword/Axe/Mace/Warhorn/Shield. I got organized by ranged weapons, 1 handed weapons, then off-hand weapons. When I take a swap a weapon, usually my Hammer for a ranged weapon, I make sure I re-equip said weapon when I’m done with the one I swapped to so it goes back to its spot.

Can be tedious but I don’t swap out my weapons that much

That was my original method but I sometimes swap to having 2 × 1h+1h or 2x 2h+2h. I’ll be honest I didn’t know about the exotic only bag. I bought one and put it right at the bottom. It’s working well for now, keeping them separate. But yeah, until ascended weapons come out..

Warrior here. I make frequent use of 7 different weapons depending on the boss/ situation at hand.

I’ve tried using weapon/armor bags, invisible bags, junk bags etc. to try keep it all separated but they just keep getting lost in between all my loot. So I have to stop and search for what I need when my bags get fuller.

This is where I wish there was some kind of action bar on my ui where I just click to equip instead of opening my hero pane/ bags each time. Or some sort of favorite option that can help me quickly identify the items I need. I use the orrian gear so their icons look the same as most of the low quality items.

I can’t be the only guy having to deal with this so I need some pro tips. Thanks.

Anet please let the current mystic forge remain! It looks great and gives a great feel to Lion’s Arch. Yes we do fight the dragons and having a big red one in the middle of Lion’s Arch might seem questionable vs lore, but can’t we make it work?

I have scanned through what might seem like similar issues but couldn’t find anything like this. If I missed it I apologise and ask to be re-directed.

My Norn male warrior is wearing the Flame Legion Breastplate and the Orrian Leg-guards. There is a very clear gap between the upper and lower body (especially while running), making me look like I was constructed by an Asura It’s the first time I see this and I believe it is exclusive to the combination of these 2 armour pieces.

I took multiple screen-shots with different backgrounds so you can see that there is a gap.
