Does anyone know if the extra character slot with the $75 version is usable on our existing account or just on the phantom “copy” that we can not use?

There is no ‘phantom copy’. You use the code you get to either create a new account or upgrade your existing account with HoT. If you upgrade, you’ll get the slot in your existing account.

You get transmutation stones(usable on gear up to lvl 79) from map completion chests. If you’re 80 and need transmutation crystals, you shouldn’t have any trouble farming a few gold to trade for gems.

So long as you have at least 10 Zeal, 25 Radiance, 10 Virtues you could spend the remaining points however. I would probably put 10 into Valor for Retributive Armor and the extra crit damage.

So Maybe 10/25/10/0/10 with 5 points extra depending on what the math says is better, power, prec or crit damage. My guess is 15 zeal would be better dps.

Ele has +40% dmg too and 100 power more than guardian with 20-25-0-25-0
I don’t think that Guardians are able to do more dmg with LH than thieves or ele

Ele works, but I only see Thief doing more when the target is below 50%.

10/25/0/25/10 would be 50% modifiers for Guardian, which is pretty good I heard.

Thief traited 30/30/0/0/10 has +35% modifier above 50 and 55% below 50 with LH. Also that’s 200 power, 50 prec and 30% crit damage more than a 10/25/0/25/10 guard.

You get either a Bag of Wondrous Goods or one of the dungeon specific trinkets. (For AC; Ring of the Catacombs / Ghostly Spineguard / Ghost Eater’s Hide etc.)

And that happened after we wiped because hammer glitched, and didn’t get the respawn prompt. Every member had to individually relog to respawn. Also, the cultists at the arm seals respawn on party wipe regardless of the original ones being killed, which means if you do have to wipe before the arm seals, you’ll face the original cultists + the respawned cultists at the arm seals, and as far as i saw, they all respawn; which leads to seals healing faster.

The only change I made was making the cultists respawn after a wipe.

I think we should make it clear that we’re only discussing 1v1’s. No one is interested in team fighting. As a mesmer, two of my main downed abilities require a target to activate.

It’s pretty clear that stealth stomping is something that the designers overlooked and which will be fixed soon.

I’m sorry, but if it’s 1v1 and the thief has you downed already why would he even need stealth to stomp you? It’s not like anyone’s gonna come help you up in the 4 seconds you buy with your #2 skill. Or are you talking about something beyond situational where the thief is nearly dead and you can down him during the stomp? In which case he should still be able to finish you off in downed state since you’ve taken damage already. ( I say ‘should’ because he can’t, not when you and 1-2 clones are stacking confusion on him and a rogue is backstabbing him. Or should we be discussing nerfing mesmer downed state here? Maybe that’s something the designers overlooked too)

kill shot:

- 2s cast time of obvious animation of a guy crouching and pointing his gun at you (from 1k range)
- not 100% crit chance(but has a +9% crit rate modifier and a +12% damage modifier)
- 10s cooldown(8s traited)
- requires full adrenaline (build in combat, or instantly with the use of heal/utility. i.e- takes less than skill cd)

backstab:

- done by someone who is invisible(in melee range, has to be from behind)
- no build up time or pre-combat requirement(except stealthing, placing yourself behind the target in melee range, and hoping he won’t turn around; or using the burst chain of 4 skills which you can stun break out of)
- 100% crit chance (with a trait that most thieves choose to ignore)
- no cooldown (on the skill. but 45s cooldown on the burst chain)
- no initiative cost(for the skill; but 6+ initiative / utility use to stealth)

What about choking gas poison? (tooltip says 5s)
Without sigil I got 19s poison duration, with 10% sigil I got 21s.

The poison field pulses every second, so it’s 4 hits of 5 seconds each. Maybe you missed the first tick?
