I want this to be a thing everywhere at any time.
More weapons = more skills. What’s not to love about this? Definitely a yes vote.
Not everyone who plays GW2, especially unranked PvP, care about what they’re doing.
I myself play unranked just to decompress after a long day at work. I’m sure I’m not the only one.
It can be easy to confuse your team color if you’re on the red team, because in any other game the red team is usually the enemy team. GW2 just had to be different for some reason.
If you care so much about winning unranked, it might be time to find a guild and start doing ranked battles. You’re pointlessly complaining about something that is the same in any game. There will ALWAYS be clueless people running around in both PvP and PvE, giving zero kittens about being good or playing properly. That’s just how MMOs are.
I barely have 50% map exploration done on my main character. I find the core of the game to be extremely repetitive and boring. After level 80, either you work on ascended/legendaries for hundreds of hours, work on PvP/WvW rank or you try to get more armor/weapon skins.
This game is all about character appearance, everyone is basically the same. I’ve learned that the hard way after playing for maybe 300 hours total. You can keep playing, but your character basically stays the same.
I understand the game is F2P, but that’s still very disappointing.
I too find this weird. There are so many items I’d want to buy but all of them are limited time offers, and they only appear in the gem store once or twice every who knows how long.
It seriously bothers me. I don’t understand why their shop works like that, it makes no sense to me.
Their loss I guess.
Maybe we should all just go back to GW1. Problem solved. Kinda.
People need to learn to separate subjective tastes from objective evaluation.
I don’t like it =/= It’s bad
this! so much this!
drytop is one of my favourite maps, i love the design of it… even more so since we can now glide there!
Yeah gliding seems to have made this place a bit better but getting around the map is still incredibly annoying when you don’t have the entire place unlocked.
Once you have all the waypoints, it still feels like a bad map but it does feel a bit easier.
I still think the map design is bad. I understand they tried to do something new and different but I don’t think it was that great of an idea.
But yes you’re right, that’s my opinion. If you enjoy the map, then good for you. I finally got the 150 geodes I needed for the mistward set, now I’ll never have to step foot in that god awful place ever again. /cheer
I have absolutely no interest in doing the story is the problem.
Why is this map so atrocious? I thought Tangled Depths was bad, but this has to be the worst map I’ve come across so far in the game.
Seriously, how did this map make it through testing without anyone harming themselves IRL? I feel like I shouldn’t have to read a guide just to know how to get from point A to point B. That’s just terrible map design.
So it seems I’ve been doing everything right, I thought I was personally doing something wrong but I guess world bosses are a collective effort…
I guess I’ll keep trying and trying until I actually do get the boss down, but so far I’ve been having absolutely no luck with my groups. I am getting annoyed and discouraged though, trying to kill this boss almost every spawn for days and days and not a single kill.
Best of luck to me, huh?
I understand the boss mechanics but even with a fairly massive group, we still cannot kill it on time.
I have been trying for close to two weeks to kill this boss. I haven’t succeeded once.
He seems to be healing way too much, there’s a million adds that deal so much damage and there are so many AoEs everywhere.
What’s the actual trick to kill this boss? We have a buttload of people on him, we destroy the crystals fairly quickly but he almost heals back to full each time. Whose brilliant idea was it to make a boss like this one?
Not ONE kill in over two weeks. Very discouraging.
Hey!
I’ve been playing GW1 for… well, way too long. Mostly mesmer.
How different is the class compared to GW1? Is it all about damage over time, or is it more focused on interrupting skills/spells?
From a quick look, it seems TOTALLY different from the GW1 mesmer. It looks like it focuses on illusions more than anything, and that doesn’t interest me.
