Lootbag Quest [Loot]
We are a World-vs-World-focused, English-speaking guild based solely on Gandara (EU) with approximately 80 members. We are a casual, friendly community that welcomes any Gandaran players who regularly play this gamemode, regardless of whether they are first-week newbies or three-year veterans.
A large part of what we do is transferring knowledge and experience from our more experienced players – many of whom have been a part of more organised “hardcore” guilds – to our newer players. We aim to help bridge the skill gap for new players to join Gandara’s more serious/“hardcore” WvW guilds, or otherwise just to provide a relaxed environment where people can play WvW for fun with a minimum of strings attached.
As for our events: We play WvW in small groups on a nightly basis. We participate in larger “WvW raids” on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, usually after 19:00 BST, with friends from other guilds. We occasionally also play PvP and PvE. All of our events are open to the wider WvW community on Gandara.
If you’re on Gandara and would like more information, feel free to contact me: Skrytt.9478

Gandara WvW players also affected. Playing in Eternal Battlegrounds, multiple players seem to crash simultaneously (though not the entire group).
Experiencing the same issue in a tournament PvP game on Temple of the Silent Storm. All players from our match are currently trapped in a PvP game where score 500 was already reached by one team. Attempting to leave through any means seems to port us straight back into the match.
In the other thread someone discovered that disabling auto proxy detect solved the CoherentUI crash issue.
Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings
Make sure “Automatically detect settings” is UNcheckedThis has solved the issue for several of us on both Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.
Works perfectly for me, thank you! I can login without needing to use the -nopatchui workaround I suggested earlier.
I had a similar crash today – I found the following fixed it for me (on Windows 7 64-bit):
1. Create a new shortcut to the GW2.exe executable
2. Right click the shortcut and click “Properties”, then click the “Shortcut” tab at the top
3. At the end of the “Target” box (after the existing text and after the closing speech mark) add the following, replacing the <> bits with the appropriate text:
-email <your account email address> -password <your password> -nopatchui
4. Click Apply, OK, then double click the shortcut to launch GW2
For me this seemed to skip whatever part of the launcher screen was crashing, hope it works!
Edit: Once you’re in, don’t open the trading post, or you will crash! If you don’t open it you should be fine
