I thought if you put in 4 x level 80 rare items you have a chance of either getting another level 80 rare or a level 80 exotic.

3 times today I’ve gotten level 78 exotics from a 4 × 80 rare combine of similar items (i.e. all weapons or all armor).

Why am I throwing away my stuff for level 78 junk?

For some reason this morning when I try to search up an item in the BLTC it will show the results but the yellow circle appears and keeps circling. I cannot select anything to purchase.

I’ve tried relogging, repairing the client, and logging back in but it didn’t help.

What else can I do?

Nevermind I figured this out. You have to transmute the old items stats and then the upgrade in order for it to work.

Anything Anet? I cannot upgrade this item.

Come on Anet. Can we do something about this?

Wrong. I’ve seen the same upgrades on other people’s books. So this is a bug.

Also, you can’t use level 80 upgrades that require the item to be level 80.

So I can keep the upgrade that’s in my previous item.

Fine Transmutation Stone

I cannot transmute my new back item Mad Memories: Complete Edition. When I try it says “Stat item cannot use that upgrade”.

I think it may have to do with the item not having a level and the upgrade requires level 80.

If so, is there any way to make this item level 80 so I can use any upgrade in it?
