I used to love to roam in WvW on my warrior, mesmer, as well as core guardian pre-HoT. As of right now, i am struggling to find a decent and enjoyable roaming build for any of these classes. Also, I play power builds exclusively in WvW and always have, so condi is out of the question.

• Warrior power builds feel clunky to the point where I’m just not having fun, even though they’re still decent. The nerfs to GS and shield bash just killed it for me, even though the nerfs were justified.

• Mesmer power shatter feels relatively weak in terms of everything but that one burst tbh. That being said I do love to play chronophantasma in spvp, but want to avoid it in wvw if i can.

• I hate DH meditrapper passionately since the beginning of HoT, and refuse to play that braindead build.

Any suggestions for a power roaming build? I avoid thief and necro, other than that, I’d give any profession a shot.

I a roamer / 1v1 Player and i play Core Mesmer for a long time. I have tried playing chrono and its alright.. but Core mesmer is just better for me and it fits my playstyle.

I have played this build for at least 1 and half year now and i still have fun playing it.
Weakness of this build is Sustain builds and Team fighting (Gvg)

(you cant use this build for everything but it is a start)
feel free to change it around if you dont like it.

Ive been playing wvw since 2012 and i was in a a gvg guilds multiple times and now i am a roamer. And even there were some low points for wvw and ye skill lagg is an anoyying thing. But things like these legendary armor and better reward system bring more people into world vs world, like when HoT was released world vs world wasnt much populated so i think its going to a good direction.

The jumping puzzle is fun but i dont think they would come becuz you dont get drops its boring to do evertime the same stuff, for me atleast.

And They should not remove it becuz people try to farm their kills.
There is alot of people coming to Obsidian scantum for fun to duel with their friends.
or to have a fun guild versus guild. i come there alot. and the farming kills isn’t that often anymore. so i dont think its that of a big problem.
if they would remove it it would take alot of joy from me.
