Haha… sounds awesome.
Got 3 sets:
Assassin + Scholar runes(only pve) – Was supposed to be zerker with scholar, the guy crafting for me messed it up -.-
Knight + Traveler rune – Medi guard roam, works awesome and renewed focus—> medi? Superb!
Knight + Trooper rune – Why knight? why not cleric or soldier? sigh… If some1 got a nice build\trait set(WvW) for this armor set plz tell.
Anyway time to make a 4th set, maybe i should just trash “knight + trooper rune set”.

I run a 0/0/6/6/2 in WvW and consistently take SYG, Purging Flames, and Wall of Reflection. Those are the 3 most useful skills in my opinion.

Y, think so as well. Watching people nuke themselves with WoR is kinda nice
Preferred Sigils, runes and stats ty?

you can also run 0.0.6.6.2 with soldier runes. More condi clearing but less stability.

I like Save Yourselves + Purging Flames on a 0/0/6/4/4 build, you can use SY to draw all conditions on you and absolute resolution/pf is enough to clear them away. Melandru Runes and -condi duration food for maximum effect to absorb condis.

Another possibility is 0/0/6/4/4 Hallowed Ground/Purging Flames/Stand Your Ground. Hallowed Ground works nicely with AH, though the stability itself isn’t too hot due to mobility in zerg fights but every bit helps people running through. Also, fire fields galore. Consider a hammer for this. Depending on your needs, you can take indomitable courage for triple stability or absolute resolution for condi clear (I prefer the later)

First one seems viable but the later isnt really an option. Hallowed Ground wont be that usefull in small scales as in big scale zerg battles.
Tho the trait and armor+ rune are the same as @Vikkela suggested so it wont be hard to adjust it according to situations

Shelter, Purging Flames, Stand Your Ground, Hold The Line & Renewed Focus

Adds stability and protection to your group. Gear and trinkets whatever tanky ones you want – soldier and celestial work. Melandru runes are awesome combined with Lemongrass poultry soup as consumable

Y, this one seems to be the most viable for me will give it a try + its easy to adjust that one to different situations
Any thoughts about knight armor+trooper rune with Soldier trinklets? (buying new sets arent cheap~)

Any1 know some WvW conceration builds? Doesnt need to be pure conse and would prefer gs+staff or hammer+staff. Renewed focus is a must.
If possible try to make it versatile so i just need to twerk it a bit to adjust it for both small and big scale fights.

It gives okey damage with some survivel. Im auto hitting 2000-4000 while in a zerg and 1000-2000ish without. If u use right combination u can even get 11k+ damage(gs:whirlwind skill).
Just saying im a casual player. Im looking here and there ,and take what i want to use.

Ah, sorry ..

Well, I wanted a build flexible enough to allow for survivability without sacrificing too much DPS for solo PvE, as well as providing some group support in dungeons. I don’t do PvP/WvW ..

Support is based mainly on shouts. Main weapon is usually greatsword, secondary is highly variable depending on the situation. I carry exotic versions of all of them around. Only weapon I don’t like is scepter, so I try to avoid having to use it.

I carry more vitality than most guardians because I hate condition damage. Many times that extra 1-2k vitality has got me out of tough situations when all my heals and endurance were on cool-down.

Thanks! It did help! But.. now I`m stuck with a new problem. But just asking do you prefer constant attack like 3.2-3.5k attack or attack thats about 2.9-3.2 and rose up to 3.8-4.2 for 20-30 sec?

I began playing a guardian specifically with this build in mind:
0/15/30/20/5

For dungeons, I swap to temple p/v/t armour with full set of runes of Melandru, and will swap around weapons and utilities as necessary.

So.. these are my 3 builds that I`m working at. They are pretty a like, except the trait part.The skills and weapon settings are the same.
I like to go both group battles and solo(i like to see a group running from me xD). Because I`m lazy I would like a build which is all round. But i could do some few changes, like swap wepons and change the trait skills, based on the situation I`m in.
What I want to know now is, what do you guys think about them. Which one of them do you prefer and what could i do to improve those builds.

That’s impossible without going the Right Handed Strength path, which would limit you to one-handers…
Well even if you don’t, to get that much crit chance it’d need something like this: 0/30/10/30/0

Another take, closer to what you might want, is this 10/0/30/30/0 (Retributive Armor is on)

And for comparison purposes, the build I use most: 30/0/10/30/0

High Power for retaliation farming, high armor and high health so I can pull a bunch at once. I’m at 2900ish Armor, 19.5k Health, 2300 Power, 20% Crit Chance, 28% Crit Damage.
Even if you could take out 300 Power and give it to Precision for example, you’d get about 15% extra Crit Chance, so you’d be still missing out 5% Crit Chance and a whole bunch of Crit Damage you wanted.
If you took out another 100 from Vitality to go 18.5, and converted it to Crit Damage, it’d be about 7% Crit Damage on average for armor, still nowhere close to yours 60%.

So I’d say it’s pretty much impossible without any food/stones (with them it’d be close, but I still think you won’t reach those stats).
If you don’t mind using only One-Handers though, you can achieve it with this build: 0/30/20/20/0

But this has some… tricks because I’m using One Handers (15% Crit Chance), Retributive Armor (4% Crit Chance) and Honorable Shield (90 Toughness) and 61 extra Defense from the Shield.
It has however even more Health than you wanted. It’s not a bad build either, but 1 Handers aren’t very good for general PvEing outside of dungeons bosses without adds (lack AoE pretty bad).

I didn`t really like or even considered your builds, except the one you use most 30/0/10/30/0

It reminded me alot about my previous build, except the part that it wasnt as good as your :P
But im currently working with this one: 10/0/25/30/5
It is far from my orginal build v.1 but its okey

Same way zerker warrior can survive, dodging.

Yeah true you can survive by dodging, but if you go up against to many mobs you will end getting killed. So glass cannon builds aren`t suited for my play style
I think glass cannon is more suited for WvW, when you go in a group battle one will end up dead sooner or later so why not turn into a ticking bomb and take some few guys with you?

The above build is great but if your going a glass cannon why not go all out and grab something like this build ?

I`m currently playing PVE for experience and to farm materials for a legendary. So i will go for Daniccos build and suggestions.
Going full glass cannon is the same as suicide against range classes in WvW and warriors with their stupid rifle >.>

For PvE pretty much any set of Gear works.
Even full Berserk if you can avoid the massive damages from bosses and such.

If you’re planning on WvW though, I think you have way too low Defense/Health, but your Attack is good.

I changed the food and some equips, but you can see you can get more Defense/Health while maintaining pretty much the same Attack: Build

Don’t use gems on gear or weapons, use the Sigil/Runes. They’re infinitely better.
Runes effects also provide unique bonuses that it’s not advisable to skip.
If you don’t care about the effects and just want attributes, the two best ones are Rune of Divinity (60 to all Attributes, 12% Crit Dmg) and Rune of the Pack (165 Power, 100 Precision, and still has a nice effect).

Always try to get your Critical Chance with more than X.50% and less than X.00%.
This is because the critical chance is rounded up above 0.5%.
In the build I linked it’s at 44.62%, so you’ll get 45%. Even if you change a Beryl gem (Vit) for a Ruby gem (Prec), you’ll be at 45.33%, not enough to gain another 1%, so you’ll still be at 45%.

If you want a bit more versatility without having to switch an entire set of gear, it’s advisable to get a defensive weapon of some sort (Knight, Soldier) for your WvW and hard content, and then you can switch to a Berserk weapon for more DpS if the content you’re running is easy.
You can switch the Knight weapon for a Berserk in the build above and see how much Effective Power you’d get at the cost of some Defense, it’s a cheap alternative than another set and you get some really good Attack status.

For even more versatility, it’s nice if you get a set of gear that works fine even if you want to change traits (not just majors, but retrait your character). It costs 4s~ and it’s cheaper than getting another set, and then you can get a set that still works out with decent Offense/Defense ratio depending on your build.
But this only if you really want to get the most of versatility without spending too much.

Other than this, I think it’s all about keep messing with it until you get your “perfect” status.

That`s the build and gears I`m aiming for(currently). So I would like someone to give me some feedback about what is bad and what i can do better.
This is my first post and I`m not a “pro” player. So i hope someone could help me out.
