Guild Wars 2

Hello there. I am working on the Legendary Armor and the Raid is the biggest challenge. To be honest, I am a rookie to Raid (only killed VG for once) but I am always willing to learn and practise (I read guides and watch videos, but I believe fight in actual raid is the best way to learn.) Therefore, I could really need some training runs if your guild is doing that, and hopefully I can become exp raider after these training sections.

P.S.: I am an UTC+8 player, which is exact opposite to UTC-4 (US East) timezone. For example, 9 p.m. in US East will be 9 a.m. in my timezone. Please let me know when your guild usually do all the Raid activities, so I may adjust my schedule to participate.

P.S. 2: Do your guild have mandatory 100% represent requirement? My character for raid can do the 100% rep for sure, but I prefer some of my other characters for other game activities don’t have to rep. Thank you.

In the past few days I noticed that when I use the portal in PVP lobby, WvW, or FOTM to return to LA, the game will stuck at the loading screen and then my laptop will reboot. Is there anyone else having the same issue?

Just decided to spend the next few months to make a set of Legendary Armor. The first step, obviously, is to finish the RAID collection achievements. However, some of my in-game buddies told me that the best era for RAID has passed, as many players have done playing RAID, and it will be difficult to even form a group of ten, especially for player with zero RAID experience like me. Is that so?

Thank you, but I am afraid that’s not the one I am looking for. I saw many videos and Melandru’s Calm is the one that plays before the cleanse ritual, but the one I heard was definitely not Melandru’s Calm. I am wondering whether the music is changed, or it is a random one that plays (but the Fear Not This Night after it is all the same.)

Don’t know its name, but I will list a few places and moments that I heard it:

(1) Orr maps, in the evening (game time)

(2) Lake Doric, in the evening (game time)

(3) Personal Story mission “The Source of Orr” (after we defeat the Eye boss but before Trahearne start cleanse the water)

I tried to find it in the OST (not including LW or HoT new music, just the original GW2 OST) but cannot find a match. Perhaps some of you heard it and happen to know the name of it, or have a link that I can listen to it. Thank you.

New to the game this year, I am wondering if GW2 has a sale during major holidays (such as Thanksgiving or Christmas.) If so, what form is the sale in? A discount in game purchase? Reduce the cost of products in Gem Store?
