Class specific only if you cannot switch class even before match starts AND team comps are mirror to make sure both team have same chance of winning.

You want to remove every single thing that require a minimum of skill. Why not adding some features that highlight your mate that needs help ! Or when an enemy has no CD anymore just put automatically the target on him ? Why not supporting your mates automatically then ?
Being able to figure out who needs help, who has no CD, who is low life is something part of the game. If you are too lazy to do it don’t play it.
It allows you to avoid damage so that you can save your healing for mates and not waste it for you, atm you also do not have that much stability so the invul helps about that. A small action (like a rez) can change a fight and even the game..this invul is a must.
Moreover, mobility is really awesome from offhand dagger but anyway mobility is good to decap or hold a point and it’s not your job you will only move to team fight in 99% of the cases or just do not play support ele and if you do well with matchups in 1v1 it’s ok.
Sometimes CC’ing someone to make it fail his burst is even better that healing so the extra (unblockable) CC from focus is a good way of supporting mates.
I find Focus is for newer Eles, they heavily rely on the invuln. It will always come down to your own skill level though, dagger is harder to use more efficiently but the pay off is better.
If you can be effective with Dagger off hand, by all means keep getting better at it.
(you should try water/air/temp build with lightning rod traits and surging runes on D/D) – turn your team into a moving stun field for 16 seconds, striking multiple enemies with lightning rod and laying out CC with Air and Earth.
Newer Eles ? Lmao, go try to play dd ele vs vM, 55 or DNL. Even with focus as soon as you use your invul you will get punished at high level (you need to access to a safe spot) so if you do not have it at all just imagine how useless you will be…I used to always call invul used by ennemy ele so if we can burst him, he dies and tf is over. In ranked it should be okay but in a competitive game you will feel the lack of this skill a lot, no doubts, no discussion needed.

I recently received my reward for being 3rd in the tournament of legends 4 (EU) but unfortunately I did not found any mystic clovers in it. I suppose that you just forget to add them in the reward. Could you please assist me and my team with this issue?

Y well known bug probably due to the taunt. If I would be Anet I would just deactivate the taunt because we can’t play with this. It’s a deadly bug of course especially in a competitive game. Thanks god the taunt trait and skill and not in the meta build.
in any case, even if you manage to type /danse on time you will prolly waste some CD…I think we need a macro keybind to type /danse XD. @Anet: Can you say something about that please ?
When you are in a fight, targeted by 3+ people and you don’t have burning speed available and you have to type ‘/danse’ XD. This is horribly frustrating because you need to waste some support you could save if bug didn’t happen.
After this I feel really disappointed. Now the mid season will soon start it will be boring as usual. They really need to make go4cups back or create some competitive tournamentS every week for players. Not a competitive tournament for 3 teams in September. Doing this will make the game more interesting as it used to be in the past. This is exactly the weekly tournaments that motivated to to play more seriously this game. Now I really don’t know what to do after this announce…Hope they will bring something new soon.

Yes, at least we used to have 2 competitives tournaments every week. An at this time the AG and 2v2 tournaments were played. So we had plenty of competitive stuff to do. Just pointing out that it is really unfortunate that we have less content.
And I love the Anet events, I am also really excited to watch the final.
But nvm I will keep playing this game as I play it since start of GW1.
I will never understand Anet tho. Maybe time to do a long break for most of players and come back after the WTS idk actually. More money and less tournaments/streams it’s like wtf. Doing this will never make GW an esport game.
And playing ranked is not even fun because of MM broken so nothing to do in this game. Well I will prolly play more often OW after the official annouce.
Anet’s game is unplayable and apparently they don’t mind. No message from them at all. For me it’s like a PROD issue ! so critical in term of priority and they think it’s ok to wait for a next patch.
People log in try to q and then leave the game atm…they wait all their players move to OW i guess.
You wait for 2 hours in HoM (where you have tons of things to do in the meantime, like fighting svanir or soloing the lord) and then the q stops (2h seems to be the limit). You get sad and you q again …
If all of the good players were still playing ranked this matchmaking oculd have worked ! but as you are so unlucky they left and now there is a new issue !
Since I reached legendary I cannot q anymore. Additionally, I don’t do any PvE or WvW and don’t want to. I did enough unranked games in the mid season period please do something and do not wait for next tuesday patch.
Well I did legendary by losing less than 10 games. And I know player that did it without losing any games and in soloQ.
If you have average MMR and you soloQ then u’ll more likely have 50% winrate. So an option is to try queing with high MMR players (if you are skilled enough but stuck because of impossible matchups).
lol dat killed me. It could have been fun to play this tournament and even stream it on twitch if good teams do it. There would be a 2nd tournament to watch on twitch every week, and probably provide some close games between teams.
I will keep playing GW as I play it from start of GW1 but I should rather quit the game and come back 2 weeks before next pro qualifier tournament.
Only 8 teams are playing competitive PvP atm (and for only 1 game per week but nvm).
I got 4th place in the last challenger cup and now nothing to do until June/July because my teammates left the game given that there is no other competitive and interesting tournament (which is definitely understandable).
Getting to legendary division takes 1 week and the matchmaking is completely broken.
The highest legendary rank you have the better matchmaking you will get. I duoQ with a friend who is rank 19 and we ALWAYS are in a full PRO players team against a full NO NAMES players team. I can feel the pain of my enemies during those games. BUT nvm this message is not about matchmaking algorithm or division system, it’s about competitive tournament.
At least with the Go4GW we used to have some competitive games every week, and any team could participate. I don’t know, open the pro league to everybody and give rewards/stream the top 8 team per week. Or make the Go4GW back and keep both of them up.
Pro league killed weekly tournaments. No more competition if you are not in pro league. Additionally, we don’t have proper leaderboard and legendary division can be done in 1/2 weeks. Boring as usual.
