Well if they’re bots, then it’s obviously not allowed^^
But I’ve tried the logging out as soon as the champion attacks and logging back in thing and it does work: he de-aggroes and returns to his spot in the middle of the “room” and you get full health back and can continue mining until he attacks again. So I’m wondering if it’s exploiting by logging out and back in as a de-aggro mechanic, or if it’s fine, since you could do the same thing by using spy-kits (I think).
When I place one of my toons at the rich orichalcum vein in Southsun Cove behind the champion without killing the champion and mining the vein until it attacks me, then logging out to de-aggro and logging back in with full health to continue mining until the vein is gone, is that an exploit? I see a lot of people doing so while I’m trying to kill the champion and was wondering if this was allowed…

Yeah, path 1 seems to buggy. When we tried, the king did spawn, but killing him didn’t finish the dungeon -.-
Detailed post with screenshot here:

We ran path 1 in AC, but were unable to finish it, because the event didn’t continue after killing the Howling King (final boss). After killing him, there’s supposed to be a cutscene with Hodgins, which never appeared, and so we never got the reward for finishing the path (no dungeontokens and no money). We fought him where he was walking around, so we didn’t pull him into another room or something like that. Two in our group had never done this path before and they didn’t get the achievement either. This affected the entire group, btw. We then tried killing all breeders in the area, but that didn’t help either. Then we spent about half an hour running through the entire dungeon, searching for enemies, which didn’t help either. In the screen, you can see the room that the boss is usually in, completely empty, since we killed him and all other enemies^^.
Yeah it’s soulbound, so you can’t directly send it to anybode, but if you drop it (using the method I described in my previous post) and somebody picks it up, it is then soulbound to him, and he can use it. I have done this myself, so I know what I’m talking about. I dropped all the siege weapons on one char, had a friend of mine pick them up, then I logged to another char, had my friend drop them again, and my other char pick them up^^. My second char can place them anywhere without a problem. Characters not on your account can use them too, my friend accidentaly placed one lol.

You can double click the blueprint in your inventory and then press ‘^’, or whatever you have assigend to switch weapons, then you will drop a little box that other players can pick up. Thus you have lost the blueprint, since you dropped it, and the other player has received it, since he picked it up.
can these bugs please be added to the list:

Virtue of resolve already on the list.
Added the master of consecration bug, it is just a tooltip error the consecrations actually last longer ingame.
I know that virtue of resolve is on the list already, but you just have the tooltip error. The error I described is that the increased effect (in combination with Absolute Resolution) is not transferred to party members, they still get the weak healing^^.
And the consecrations don’t actually last longer, do they? I tested them all and timed the effect with a stopwatch lol, and it was at most half a second longer, which I believe is just me not clicking stop quick enough^^, no the skills actually lasting longer…

I’ve done some testing and these are my results (all guardians have different (or no) runes, but all exotic gear):
PvE, with all level 80 characters:
Guardian1: 300 healing power
with trait: tooltip says 261, actually heals self for 134 and party members for 107
without trait: tooltip says 102, actually heals self and party members for 107
Guardian2: 529 healing power
with trait: tooltip says 275, actually heals self for 152 and party members for 122
without trait: tooltip says 116, actually heals self and party members for 122
Guardian3: 706 healing power
with trait: tooltip says 285, actually heals self for 166 and party members for 132
without trait: tooltip says 126, actually heals self and party members for 132
Guardian4: 806 healing power
with trait: tooltip says 291, actually heals self for 173 and party members for 139
without trait: tooltip says 132, actually heals self and party members for 139
Guardian5: 1230 healing power
with trait: tooltip says 317, actually heals self for 207 and party members for 166
without trait: tooltip says 158, actually heals self and party members for 166
In the mists (PvP):
Guardian1: 300 healing power
with trait: tooltip says 261, actually heals self for 128 and party members for 102
without trait: tooltip says 102 and it does actually heal self and party members for 102
Guardian2: 465 healing power
with trait: tooltip says 271, actually heals self for 140 and party members for 112
without trait: tooltip says 112 and it does actually heal self and party members for 112
1. The tooltip displays a ridiculously high number with the trait enabled. Should display a number 25% higher than without the trait (see wiki).
2. In the mists, the tooltip without the trait displays the correct number that this virtue actually heals. In PvE, even without the trait, the tooltip (or the healing done) is incorrect.
3. Party members don’t actually benefit from the trait, they still receive the same healing the guardian got without the trait, even though its enabled and the guardian gets higher healing.
Trait Virtue VI is buggy: it says, that it lowers skill recharge of all consecration skills and makes them last longer, but it only does the first. In the screen, you can see, that all recharge times are lowered, but the time they last are exactly the same…
edit: when actually using the consecration skills, the duration is still the same with and without the trait; I tested all of them with a stopwatch :P

Hi,
I’ve tried to transmute the halloween book skin onto my ascended back item, but the Confirm-Button is always greyed out. As you can see in the screenshot, I am using a “fine transmutation stone” for level 80 equip, so that’s not the problem.
I’ve already posted this and haven’t gotten an official response yet… but it doesn’t count towards the explorer achievements anyway, so who cares?
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Exploring-areas-bug/
No, I actually do not have any +healing on any of my runes, not in pve that is. In the mists, I just have the standard guardian rune with a total of +50 healing. But that doesn’t explain the downwards difference… It only heals about the half of what it says it does…
My guardian is now level 70 and has 314 healing power. My Virtue of Resolve tooltip states that it heals me for 93, but it heals me for 97… Kind of weird, but just 4 points more, so no big deal. Then I chose ‘Absolute Resolution’ as trait, which increases the passive heal of this virtue. Now the tooltip says 225, but in reality, it only heals me for 136… What’s the deal with that? Anyone else noticed a different heal amount from their virtue?
edit: tested in the mists: Healing without the trait says 126 and heals 126… with the trait it says 285, but only heals 157… In pve, the numbers are even off without the trait…

still missing -.-
you have to finish all explorer achievements to get 100% in the character screen and thus get a star next to your name
the medal in the character select screen gets filled up by uncovering parts of the map, not completing hearts, vistas, etc. try looking at your explorer achievements, if you have all, then its a bug, if you don’t, then you haven’t uncovered all of the map.
This area does in fact NOT count towards the explorer achievement. I now have 175/175 Krytan Explorer and this part of the map is still covered up, it CAN’T be uncovered.
@UmiKaru: There’s some rocks just south of my position (in the part that’s actually uncovered) that you can jump on to reach the higher level. On the higher level is the chest.
Look at this thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Exploring-areas-bug/first#post99390
I posted a picture there of an area that most likely counts towards the Krytan Explorer achievement, but can’t be uncovered.
My ‘Hero’ window shows a different number for my healthpoints as my “health-bubble” at the bottom of the screen lol. One says I have 14,795, the other says I have 15,091. I don’t have any buffs that give me extra vitality/health, so I don’t understand where this difference comes from. I have tried relogging and switching zones, neither of which help. Those two numbers are constant and always different
edit: repairing my armor and then relogging or switching zones has not fixed this bug
edit2: I figured out why there is almost always a difference between actual lifepoints and the number in the ‘hero’ window. The bonus from WvW does not change the ‘hero’ window number, only the one at the bottom of the screen^^. Topic can be closed, not a bug.

Some parts of maps can’t be discovered correctly. As you can see on the screenshot, I am well into a part of the map that I haven’t uncovered yet, which makes the achievement ‘Krytan Explorer’ impossible to get. There is even a chest at my position, so it is indeed a place where you’re supposed to go^^.
This isn’t the first place I’ve discovered, that can’t be uncovered on the map, but it is the most obvious and annoying one, since I can go so far into the uncoverd part… I’ve tried to walk and jump around everywhere around there, but it just can’t be uncovered correctly.
